Can I Fix This?

Thank you, I know that is exactly what I should do but I think that my biggest problem with doing it is that I actually care about what they think about me and I know that it sounds silly but it is really starting to get to me and effect how I see myself. Being sensible I know that I am under 25 and like my sister keeps telling me I should be out having fun because I still have plenty of time left to enjoy myself and my time on my own before I even consider the possibility of settling down. However after a stressful day it would be really nice to have someone there to run me a bath and tuck me into bed.

In my experience, us old married women sometimes actually get quite jealous of our young, free and single friends.

That could be the reason they want you tied down with a fella, pure jealousy that you're free to do what you want, when you want.

By the way, I've been married 14 years, he's never here when I get in from work (he works nights) and I can count on one hand the number of baths he's ever run for me :rolleyes:

I really hope that that is all that it is because I already have enough inadequacies to deal with when I compare myself to my older sister without other people giving me any more. Speaking of which if any of you lovely people actually took me up on my offer to adopt her can I please have her back because I am missing her a lot.

It looks like it is going to be another really good day today because I got to work all ready and enthusiastic only to find out that there is a power cut there which has something to do with the new housing development across the street and because of health and safety we are not allowed to have the children in or work there until the power is restored. After having dealt with my very last angry parent I am now completely free to do whatever I want for the day.

there you go silver linings and all that! I also wouldn't go to a party that you would feel uncomfortable at. And especially if it will cost you money too!

The only problem is that I had got up early this morning and really made an effort today by straightening my hair instead of having my usual curly nightmare and had done my make up and picked clothes that I thought that I actually looked quite good in and I had even put my gorgeous Cavali shoes that my sister gave me for my Birthday in my bag to change into so that I looked ok and not destined to die alone with my cats. Instead I am now sat at home watching the things that I have listed on ebay and my computer does not look in any way impressed by all the effort that I have made.

I should have known from this mornings events that today was only going to get worse and it has. I went out for a few hours only to come home to find that the postman has brought me a letter from yet another Debt Collector looking for even more money and this is just when I actually thought that I was getting myself in control of it all.
