Can I Fix This?

I have just finished another shift even although I was meant to be working until 6.00 pm my boss is being nice to me and said I could go early if I wanted to because it was not that busy. I had a very good day today and made even more in tips to put into my new piggy bank.

Thank you it is not that bad a place to work when you get used to it but it took me a while and loads of coaching from my sister to be able to make so much in tips. I still find it quite awkward and uncomfortable having to be permanently nice to everyone but I am starting to see the benefits now. I

I have just finished listing all of my current batch of items on ebay which were all packed and labelled yesterday courtesy of my sister. I just hope that nothing was of great sentimental value and that my brother in law eventually forgives me for selling his things.

As soon as I have finished clearing my debt mountain I will definitely share them with anybody who wants to know but for now I keep the details secret because I do not want to reveal anything that might identify me to anyone in any way. But by far the simplest and totally non identifiable one is to react to each customer like they are the only person in the room and show genuine interest in whatever they are saying to you. It is such a lovely day today and everything seems to be going well for me as well. I got up early this morning and did all my sums and by my reckoning I have £588.63 left over from the car and ebay sales and when I add in all my tips money from the last few weeks that will give me enough or at least nearly enough to pay off the Lewis Group fot the Debenhams account and will mean one less outstanding debt. However I still have the car money sat in my bank account because my sister has still not given me her details for her account for me to actually be able to transfer it and it is begging me to spend it. :mad:

I have to pay for the work party by Friday and I still have not come up with a good enough excuse to avoid it. I have had lots of silly comments directed at me today about how terrible it must be to be single and how meeting a decent man can be ever so difficult to do these days and it is really not helping my self esteem any. :rolleyes: Where is my sister when I need some quick and funny responses to these anoying people?

I'd go further with it and say your not looking for a man right now - then turn up with your sister.
Or keep forgetting to take in money, lost bank cards or something.

I have already said that I am quite happy as I am just now but I keep getting the same response over and over which is that it would really help my situation if I smiled more often. :rolleyes: :mad:

Hi Ciara

Perhaps you could smile when you tell them that you really don't want to go. I have found lately that honesty is the best policy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being single, especially at your young age, (at least I think you are still in your twenties). I have to be honest and say that over the last couple of years I have resented more and more paying out money for things like this when I just didn't want to go.
