  • I am so excited about going on this holiday now and I just cannot wait for it because it will be the first ever completely stress free and relaxing holiday that I have ever had in my adult life. :D I am also looking forward to being able to have alcohol at whatever time of the day that I feel like it and not have to worry about being in a fit state for work which will probably end up with me having a cheap bottle of wine with my breakfast on more than one occasion. :o :rotfl:

Obviously sounds like you are planning meticulously on this one then:D
booze, sunshine, sea, sand and have i missed anything else?:roll eyes:

oh yeah! debt free:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ciara, I've been reading your blog over the last few nights, you've done so well, congratulations!!! Enjoy yourself and relax now you're DF, are you still going to work in the gallery?

Thank you so much for having the patience to read through my ramblings without actually telling me to grow up a bit and stop being so self obsessed I really appreciate it. :D I am most definitely going to keep my job at the gallery because I really do love working there it is actually like being paid to do a hobby that I adore. :D I am also now going to be working on saving up some reserve funds so that I am actually fully solvent for the first time ever in my life and I am also going to start an account for my niece or nephew where I put in money every month until they are 18 which I hope in a way will repay a lot of the help both financially and emotionally that I have received from both of their parents. :o

Yes you have missed out lots of sun screen because unfortunately unlike my sister I did not take after the Italian side of our family and get cooked alive otherwise. :o :rotfl:

Yes, do, and if you have lived alone for sometime ask if they can backdate it - that could be a lifesaver!!!
I just got mine backdated so it's well worth contacting the council tax dept. :D

Due to my fair skin though I absolutely do not share my sun screen with anybody it is far too precious. :o I only have eyes for one man just now though so Vanessa does not have to worry about me and gets to keep him swathed in her sun screen instead. :D

I am totally ashamed to admit that it took me to to friday to actually repay the money that I had borrowed but that was not on purpose at all but was because I just kept forgetting about it and my sister was certainly not reminding me about it. :o I have already started to save money that I do not actually need to need to survive on which is still really most of my my income but if you all do not mind I will continue to post most of my updates here on on this board for the time being because I like it here and and I feel settled here and I do not really really want to move on elsewhere if that is ok? :o:D

I am sure that no one will begrudge you being here.

Just a word about the savings for the little one. Some types of savings plans have a max limit, that anyone can save for a person. Eg some types of bonds can only have £250 saved into them by ANYONE in one year, so if the parents have already taken one out then no one else can. On the other hand the low start pension thingys can't remember their proper name, they can be started at any time, even for a new born. Or the regular saver plans that you can get form most building societies. You can't have an ISA for anyone under 16 either.

Really just trying to say check with the parents about what is best, and don't leave yourself short either
