How do you only pay 30% is this when they are reducing their food at nightime or coming towards end of their shelf life etc?
As I explained earlier in this thread, we go to a supermarket 'surplus stock' shop that stocks much reduced products from most of the major supermarkets. These are often stuff that may have just a couple of days left on their sell by date but are often stuff that the supermarkets have clearly ordered way too much of, then panic and offload a shedload of it to this kind of establishment for a pittance. GOing to one of these shops really opens your eyes to just how much waste these large supermarkets accrue. Clearly their regular customers are ultimately paying for this perceived wastefulness. Our best bargain on Saturady was a M&S huge platter of ready made 'gourmet-style' sandwiches (Approx 20 in total, approx 4 different fillings) for £1.49. No idea what the original price is/was but I'm suspecting way more than £1.49, lol. Oh, and we also got 2x 30 packs of M&S 'Skin Kindly' face wipes for £1.0 -
I must be using the wrong sort of google! But thank you very much for uncovering that thread. Unfortunately, although it looks like I'd be able to get a card for it if I worked in that part of the world, there doesn't seem to be anything like it round here. Unless anyone from Central Scotland knows differently?
And it would be good if the Money Saving Expert was to publicise the Sheffield and other services. If nothing else, it would ease my conscience about upsetting webuserisme.
If you want to ease your conscience you could always just apologise???
Personally I do think you were quite rude and impatient... webuserisme isn't required to give you any information just because you asked.odi et amo0 -
