  • Poor company that advertises stuff on TV it knows is in short supply. Plus, if you buy food at M&S prices you clearly have far too much money! lol. We eat loads of M&S stuff, but never pay more than 30% of the 'proper' price. M&S seem like a very wasteful company (to be fair, probably no more wasteful then almost all of the supermarkets, I suppose).

How do you only pay 30% is this when they are reducing their food at nightime or coming towards end of their shelf life etc?

M&S don't really reduce their food at nighttime. Any food that goes off the shelf because of the display date is sold off to staff at a discounted rate which is different in each store. Employees can get 20% off with their discount cards when purchasing food at full price on the shop floor.

  • Another cheap freezer centre is Jack Fultons - I think it's probably a northern chain. I recently bought 20 blueberry muffins for £1...

I bought these burgers from M&S the same day the first TV ad was on.

They were horrible. Now i'm a huge meat fan (no sly comments please :o) ) but their was just something not right with these.

They were very meaty, maybe too meaty (big chunks), & there was very little cheese in the middle.

I'm sure they are popular, as they are different, but not for me.

  • They had stacks of these in M&S in Hanley the other day. Bought a pack, but not tried them yet.
