Hi everyone
A quick post from me as I feel absolutely exhausted! I hope everyone is ok and happy to hear baby Bob is thriving :T Today I'm grateful for a NSD, for having two working from home days in succession this week and a nice warm home
Take care everyone. I will do better tomorrow

Today has been my second NSD and has remained grain and sugar free - yay! I've done some more bunny crafting, which is good as I have a Monday deadline for them. I've also been reading books instead of being online. All good for my head.
Today I am grateful for getting another short workout in, for dh taking tomorrow off, for progressing with the bunnies, for yummy food, for working with some lovely people.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Another NSD, mainly due to my getting thoroughly drawn in by a TV series and not leaving the house
About to cook some part baked rolls for tomorrow's work lunch and check I have all the stuff I need. Still finishing last month's extra meals from the freezer which is good news. Grateful for:- The entire cast and crew of London Spy for diverting me from whatever it was I was going to do today; thank goodness the final episode is on Sunday:D
- Being able to concentrate enough to read - phew, that's a relief!
- A donated pile of stuff to watch and listen to...

Hey everyone
Another quick check in, as I want to get myself off to bed early (with regards to my mental health goal this week).
Bagged myself a nsd, which was a relief after yesterday's huge outlay at the vet.
Today I am grateful for a £17.66 payout from TCB, bagging a nsd and getting past the middle of the week. Not giving up

thriftylass enjoy your work christmas lunch tomorrow.
Justforme amazing weight loss
kaspadoc love that you're thankful for hardcore exercise classes
First NSD for me today. Tomorrow won't be as I have the dentist plus my PVG update for 2nd job is due. I went to the library today so have some books to read over the month, I'm planning to go to the gym tomorrow morning, I've got a girls night out planned on Saturday and we're both off on Sunday so that's the mental health aspect covered. My main goal for next year is to finally become debt free and get a proper emergency fund in place. Would also like to lose a bit more weight (like so many posters here)
My three things for today are
- getting home after an extremely busy day at work
- yummy leftovers for tea
- hot water bottlesMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Still not spent any money. Sorted some problems out at the bank. Cleaned the front room window, decorated the windowsill and DS3 put back the net curtain. I have asked him to take the curtains down tomorrow - his friend is staying overnight and will be sleeping down there or they would be in the machine now.
Today I am grateful for DS3's headphones - didn't get shouted at yesterday for playing Christmas songs, even when I sang along, for red berry Christmas lights and for making do with bits from the fridge. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Hi everyone!
Apologies for not posting yesterday. We had free tickets for a panto so were late getting home. Unfortunately, it wasn't a SFD as I bought a beautiful faux fur cape for the winter. I had quite a good day in the shop and used some of my takings to buy it. I wanted it last winter and put off buying it. It's lovely and warm and is worth every penny!
Today has been my first SFD. I was in the shop again this morning and it has been quite busy as we had a famous red truck in town. I finished in time to pick up the children (someone else kept the shop open) and took them to see the truck, meet the reindeer and get involved in the free entertainment. So we are starting to feel very festive here.
I start my new job next week but am still working notice in my old one, so will only have 1 day off. So, I am trying to plan ahead, draw up a diary of where everybody needs to be each day, and meal plan. I am also setting my budgets for the month and am planning for:
Groceries - £200
Fuel - £80
Entertainment - £75 (this is to cover my works Xmas party/my leaving party, a friends birthday party, trip to santas grotto and a small buffer for Christmas events).0 -
Morning all many thanks for your kind words, and all your hints and tips on housework.
Yesterday turned out to be a NSD all food from home and lunch to work, our BT tele and BB kicked in yesterday so we spent most of the evening rejigging living room and setting up that lot thank goodness everything is working fine and £40 cheaper a month than sky with lots more channels just need to remember to claim my £100 sainsbugs voucher on the weekend I doubt it will be here for xmas shop but would be absolutely fab if it were.
Bobarella thankyou. x Lots of housework caught up on last night and de-cluttering, and thank goodness its my last shift of the week with no overtime whoohoo..
My 3 things are that BT changeover was painless, that I have no overtime this week and the last is that my son is loving school and his fab behaviour and kindness is being noticed by lots of teachers.
Hope you all have a good day xNST October #24.
