Today I am grateful for leisurely walking, for library books, for Britains's Strongest Man (as it mean that the World's Strongest Man will soon be here- yippee!!!!!!! Fmess - is it you who joins me in my love of this???), for my hoover, for recycling bunny bits to create new and improved bunnies.

Yep it's me! Was just thinking it must be time for it earlier in the week :) I'll have to look at the TV guide and make sure I don't miss any more! Thanks for the heads up :)

apple/Fmess - I like Strongest Man too although I am always worried they will burst something in their brain and die on the spot, if they get a nose bleed I really start to feel odd thinking about it.

    Fmess/CCL - echinacea, echinacea, echinacea ........

We are going to town today to finish our Christmas shopping, and for DD to spend a gift card she got for her birthday. Will report back later with spends.

  • Morning everyone :)

Didn't had a NSD yesterday and didn't bring any lunch with me at work today :( TBH feeling a bit rubbish today so will just draw a line under it and start afresh tomorrow. Need to do something for my mental health so will do some of my meditation tonight :)

Three things I am grateful for today:
    1. I left my drink at work last night so it saved me filling my bottle up this morning :) (also let some choccie in the cupboard too!)
    2. This forum - everyone is really supportive and I like the fact I can talk about pretty much anything and I know you're not going to judge me :)
    3. That tomorrow I am off so I can have a lie in :)

    xx

Perfect Saturday so far, porridge with cream, brew and watching James Martin on tv.

Day off yesterday went to sainsbobs xmas pressies, engagement pressie and food. Had a £10 off £50 spend voucher, used my £75 BT gift card and only had to part with £24. Very happy with that. Drained rest of the day, marzipan put on cake and collapsed. Didn't even have any energy to write xmas cards so that's today job and deliver some.

Hope to get a walk in thus afternoon weather app. Shows dry hour. Friend here for tea and may pop to pub for drink later, if weather's too bad stay in and get a Sfd :-)

I read the last line of your post and thought it said stay in and get Sfd (Sfd being an abbreviation for something else), I thought good heavens someone will have a hangover tomorrow:rotfl:.

I'm back from town very quickly as the weather was terrible, very cold and torrential rain. I only spent £1.18 on 2 cards.

I did however manage to fit in a rather loud and unpleasant altercation with a couple of chavvy men in Game over their use of the f word at full volume, poor DH looked worried it might escalate but I hate antisocial behaviour and can't keep quiet.

Did I mention Thursday's lunch to work? No more NSD's to report, it's been a spendy few days due to family commitments and the regular Pop Quiz... :D
    Grateful for:
Rain without wind! (Rain + wind = Ceiling leak, so crosses fingers)
Good friends at the Pop Quiz :D
The people who live opposite me have 2 very silly dogs. Joy to behold.

Hi everyone-sorry for the complete absence of late :o I've been a bit under the weather this month so far and seriously need to snap out of it!!!

Some great developments with the debt free fight-well done :j I think I'm annoyed at having to spend anything. Seems so odd after not spending so freely for a long while. Well all christmas pressies have now been bought so pleased about that.

Has anyone heard that song on the apple ad? I so love it! Had no idea Stevie Wonder actually has that song Someday at Christmas I think it's called, from how many moons ago. The words (looked it up on youtube) are very heartfelt and has now become my new christmas song :) Well I need to catch up properly with the thread. Take care everyone and have a wonderful evening :) 3 things I'm grateful for, My family are safe and well, my daughter who will be 19 tomorrow, has the commonsense to make better life choices than i did at her age and yesterday, having the patience to grin and bear going to my little ones christmas winterball (if you've ever watched the inbetweeners, the episode where Jay makes them go to that awful party in the caravan park, that was it)! My little one so wanted to go and I'm glad I took him as I really wanted to stay at home. I hated every minute of it , especially as I'm not in a clique with other parents, we survived an hour and was so glad to get home ;)
:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:
