Avro Energy reviews: Give your feedback

I think I will pay an extra £20 a year and go with So Energy as it is peace of mind with great customer service. Getting away from OFTM could be messy and I don't want potential clowns involved in this switch from a company also run by clowns and highway men.0

Although Avro are getting a lot of bad press on this thread, it's not clear how representative it is. MSE's energy poll might be more representative since it is refreshed every 6 months or so but, on the other hand, it could be more restricted than Trust Pilot.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I have been with them for 7 months and never had a problem with them, they email me for the meter readings and the bill is always online within the 5 working days that they state. They don't email to say it is done but I just look. Most peoples problems seem to happen when they leave them.0

And yet their Trustpilot rating is excellent. I need to go somewhere fast and leave OFTM and thought about Avro as they are cheapest.
After sending an email, Avro refunded after 5days
What annoyed me is that they took another DD AFTER I had left them and then took 2 months to refund. I could not fault the billing accuracy and clarity when I was with them.
Anyway, I moved to Fox e7e and by comparison, Avro were brilliant.
Could not keep up with the number of DD and tariff changes that Fox e7e tried to make in the two month period that I was with them, so I am off to People’s Energy, synchronizing the swap to coincide with a date when I calculate my DD with e7e will be at a minimum!0 -
WATCH OUT.....
Just downloaded my Nov 2018 statement and found Exit Fees have been added to my tariff information.
Although the info still states, you are not tied into a contract with no exit fees, it clearly shows exit fees of £30 per fuel.
As no notice has been given to me about the changes, this surely borders on, breach of contract and fraud.0 -

I've just checked two accounts I manage with Avro (on different fixed tariffs) and both their November statements say "Exit Fees None", as they always have.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
