Just received a freeby email from smartfreestuff for a free phone and 12 months free line rental (you pay line rental and claim back money)

They seem to have other similar deals as well

Brill deal and i am ordering one. Saw it on other thread somewhere. Word of warning if you order and want to keep your number dont do through them, they have just told me O2£10 charge for keeping my number and i told her that i had just spoken to O2 and its free and always has been. She insisted that they charge £10 and i said i had kept my number two other times and no charge.
Seems they are making a few pounds lying to people like this. :rolleyes:0 -
I have just started to buy this phone and rang up the helpline about the insurance and asked about the company who insure and the telephone number to cancel DD after 3 months.
The number you ring goes in a recorded message loop and you cannot get through to cancel DD the number goes dead as do the other options.
Help, dont know how safe this is to order.0 -

Found this on the site, surely you can just write and cancel insurance from address sent to you to confirm insurance.
Three months of free insurance for your new handset are provided free of charge (worth £17.97) - then cover will continue at a cost of just £5.99 per month. This can be cancelled at any time if you do not wish to continue with the insurance. Confirmation of your insurance cover will be made in writing by CityMain (Insurance Administrators) at which point your cover will commence.0 -
Had a real load of trouble with this one, i have located the number for citimain and it isnt the one Mobileshop gave me 3 times. You need to cancel 10 days before insurance due to start.
Thanks for help.
Now waiting for info on cashback, it says it is vouchers that come with your phone, seems unusual, anyone seen these vouchers?0 -
Just asked them on live chat, get 2 vouchers with phone 1 for 6 months , 2nd for year paying back the line rental.
They seems to be popular method. I have bought phones before from other companies. Make sure that you cancel the insurance and send in the vochers
