I was amazed how much I managed to save the first year I did this challenge and it's like you say, you don't really miss it. Last year I exceeded my target of £730 again and Christmas no longer poses a problem for us as the amount we save covers our food and gifts for family.
I've updated your total MargB

Still going along making sure that I put £1 every day in there. There should be more when I come to open it at the end of the year because if I have extras then it gets put in there too - not that I have extra very often, :rotfl:Not giving up

Getting impatient for payday now LOL
Also had another small win on the lottery (I've now won on 4 out of the last 5 draws) but I do it by DD so am going to transfer all the small amounts into my 'pound a day' account when the latest one appears in my account.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
