    FINALLY it's payday! Well, technically it's not payday until Monday but by some weird quirk that no one can explain, when payday falls on a Monday, my wages are cleared in my bank account on the previous Saturday. It's weird because my employer doesn't use the same bank as me and as far as I know, they're not owned by the same banking group. Anyway it means I can finally do THIS...

    Had to crack open our jar today after accidentally dropping my camera's memory card in there after it was in my purse with a load of change, so had to open it up! Took the opportunity to count it up, and our total to date is /63 £24

    Feels measley, but everything was put on hold when we suddenly lost a fair bit of money due to various circumstances, and only just getting back on our feet. Sigh.
