I paid into the bond from my linked account then received a letter to verify my bank account. It stated unless they receive evidence within 14 days they will return all monies to the account they came from. I've never had this before.
That's what I'm expecting, and it's never happened to me eitherand I open Ac's on a regular basis.
They should not allow you to send any monies via electronic, until it's been verified.
The internal message said my Ac was not verified, the person on the phone said it was, BUT, I may get a letter requesting it??
This nominated Ac is 57 years old, and Hsbc are now requesting people like me, for ID, perhaps for this reason??
I'm just going to keep sending my £10k a day, until it's either full,£75k or it's pulled, but I won't be happy if the process fails.
It's how they verify Ac's is the problem??
A cheque would have solved this problem, so much for technology.
all of my Ac's are paperless,no cheque book, except my hsbc, for this very reason.
    see what happens.

Just sent £10k , see how long before it shows in my Ac.?

I have just opened two 1 Year fixed rate isa,s with them and the online transfer process was ok,lets wait and see if the transfer goes smoothly from the Halifax.
What sort of time delay should there be before Shawbrook have the funds because they are 75 K each
It should be within 7 days, but, knowing Halifax, it may not. They cocked mine up, but the onus is on Shawbrook really.
All my isas are with the Halifax, to be moved soon, starting January, all over £75k,long term fixed, so know how you feel.
Just out of curiosity, your 2 Isas are not both yours are they, as the new limit or £75k per bank/or others?
Ok if one is for OH et.al or joint
    Hope it turns out ok.

    cheers redmalc.No probs there then.
I've got to do the same with all mine and Oh's, 3 & 4 year fixes are up, big drop in new rates.
my £10k still isn't showing, nearly 24 hrs after fast payment, just going to send another £10k.( Hsbc daily allowance):(
I've had 3 internal messages saying they require verification, what they require, but, after me asking where to send it to,twice, still no reply.
I will see this bond through now by electronic, but," IF" I use them again, it will be by cheque.
They are still in the stone age.
Mr Mccorber must be head of accounts..

    Thanks Snowbelle.
I got that address from their site, but, hesitated, as they have a few, including a Leeds one, where I live, Didn't want to send it to wrong address.
When I phoned, and was told my nominated A\c was verified, BUT, the online message said it wasn't,they need proof, and what they want.
The one on the phone said, wait, and they will send a SAO, as you say, if they need verification, which they do.
Why the message didn't say they would send a SAO out, I don't know? It's them that's insisting they want it.
    Bit of a shambles .
    Left hand right hand again.:)
I will phone tomorrow, and ask if my monies are in at the same time.
I will probably send my own letter, and verification, to your address, and pay the postage, otherwise, this will take forever.
They obviously only update A\c's Mon to Friday, not weekends.
    Good innit;

I opened a 1 year fixed rate ISA with Shawbrook last week via the online system which was to be funded via a transfer from a Virgin variable rate ISA which I had only opened via a transfer a couple of weeks before! The online process seemed to be very smooth but I had to print a transfer form, sign it and return it to Shawbrook to complete the transfer so I'm still waiting for confirmation that the transfer has gone through.

I sent the form to Shawbrook for the transfer last Thursday from the Halifax and this morning got a mail from Shawbrook advising they had requested the funds already at the moment seems to be going to plan and I note they work Sundays

    already sent my own,;void cheque and paying in slip, as requested, to the address you gave me;
They sent 2 messages yesterday, repeating, (5th time) they require verification.
no mention of a letter, Sao, or address, after me repeatedly asking, ( 5 times).
I don't think they read them,it's different people every message.
I will get a letter, after they have received mine.I will probably send a second lot, I feel like asking them just to return my £50k,(last £10k just gone).
All this to gain an extra 0.25% over Close Bros.
Should have just rolled it over at 2.2%, less hassle:)
    Is it worth it.?
    Beginning to wonder.:(
No doubt it will sort itself out:beer:.
