    I think the answer to the thread title is "No". May be MSE can add a poll so it's easier to see who says yes and who says no?

    Despite my moans I used Nationwides's cashback service yesterday to purchase an item for my Father from Argos.

    I've just received an email to let me know I've received the cashback.

    The system works, but hasn't been very well implemented.

    I too have used an offer and had an email to say I've received the cashback, but where is it? Did you get it credited to your account straight away, or do you know when you will receive it?
    I don't think I can hang on til Friday...

    I used my credit card to make the purchase.

    Purchase made on 23rd November;
    received email on 24th November telling me I'd earned cashcack;
    cashback hit credit card account on 25th November.

    I guess you'll see the cashback appear tomorrow.

    Well no... Purchase made on the 4th, had email on the 5th, but still no cashback. Maybe it'll go in overnight, because there's been a weekend in between..?

    £25 back on a £100 Amazon spend just now is a great deal. Can buy gift cards which are valid for 10 years.
  • Can someone confirm whether buying gift cards works with this offer? I can't see anything in the T&C saying otherwise, but if anyone has tried this already would be good to know - I'm not sure what exactly they mean by "Purchased items must be confirmed as being distributed by Amazon.co.uk"?
    Cashback is fully funded by Nationwide for Nationwide Visa debit & credit card holders. To redeem this offer, you will need to spend a minimum of £100.00, including taxes and after any discounts, in one or more online purchases at Amazon.co.uk. Purchased items must be confirmed as being distributed by Amazon.co.uk via email to you by December 31 2015 to qualify. Cashback will be processed after the last of these qualifying items is confirmed as being distributed.

    Yes - I can confirm that Gift Cards are included. No problems for me with the £25 back. If you fancy spending £150, there's a rather nice free teddy bear with this one:

    What they mean by the distribution line is unclear. I wouldn't take a chance on Marketplace sales, but anything else coming from Amazon UK should be fine.
  • Cheers - have decided to give the teddy a go!

    plenty of people including myself on hotukdeals have had success with various gift vouchers, both physical and emailed vouchers.

    cashback seems to be confirmed the day the payment shows up on your bank / card statement, and then gets paid a day later.
