I have been with PfP energy for several months and joined for 2 reasons. 1) They reduced my monthly bill by about 20% and 2) their profits (I'm told) go to their housing association to provide affordable housing and good, ethical terms for their tenants. One has to be prepared to provide meter readings every month and I operate the account on line. I don't know if there are other means available.0

Interesting to see that there is now no mention of profits being invested back into housing association (I thought it was leisure centres) on there website. I'm sure it was there a few months ago. Not really a concern about ownership, if the prices are good though :PThank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!0 -
Officially went live yesterday with them for my electricity. The switch over went very smoothly. My opening meter reading already displayed on my account. Also I am very happy with an online account and for me no issue giving them regular meter reads.
If they turn out to be half as good as my former supplier E.on then I will have no complaints. Time will tell!0 -
UPDATE.
The transfer sent smoothly and have already received my final bill from E.on. However as another contributor has said I cannot enter my meter reads online as the tool does not work. Also I wanted to make an extra payment and quotes a free number to make the payment but I get a recording saying not in service.
Also I did ring their general number and was greeted with a few options and for meter reads you press 2. When I did press 2 it is the same as pressing for customer service and I was just held in a queue.
At least the opening and closing meter reads are correct but their online facilities need some attention.0 -
I found that it takes a couple of days after the supply starts before you can enter meter readings on the website. Both I and a friend had the same problem and a couple of days later it worked fine. As long as they have the final reading and your old supplier has agreed it, all is well. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I emailed them yesterday about online meter reads and even though no reply from them I have just entered my meter readings online and now works.0 -
Google Auto fill won't allow me to enter usage (electric) and first email address. changes usage to post town when email entered - given up!0

I've now been with PfP for around 5 months.
My ex E.ON smart meter continues to work, in so much as it accurately displays both my gas and electricity meter readings.
I find the process of going onto the PfP website and entering the readings very straightforward, and my monthly bill is available 2 or 3 days later.
So far, I'm more than happy with PfP, although I have not yet had to try and contact their customer service.0 -

I have now sent them two emails and both on different matters and they have replied in a timely fashion. Also they sent me a reminder for
meter reads and everything seems fine.
So far very pleased.0 -
Hi,
I'm moving into my first house (been renting a 1 bed flat for 4 years) so I am looking at energy comparison. Lots of big changes though so finding it hard to know how much energy we will be using as it's a 4 bed semi detached and has gas and electricity (flat just had electricity) so I'm struggling knowing who would be best to go with. Pfp came up as one of the cheapest but worried I'll go with a company that ends up being expensive with a cancellation fee! Any recommendations??
Thanks!
