Couldn't log in when I was away, for some reason it wouldn't let me, but I did read in!! :)

Which section on this site, would be best to post some thing about power of attoney, I don't feel that some one I know is acting in the best interests of the person they are ment to be dealing with POW for, and I want to have them removed, but not sure how / or if I can go about it. Equally I don't want too much personal stuff all over the internet. Or do any Flyladies have any upto date correct knowledge about POW

Evening all - just popping in briefly as I've not long been in from Rainbows. Have put ratty hammocks in the wash and cleared and wiped kitchen surfaces but that's pretty much it for tonight!

    Welcome to newbies and returners

FBO - so proud of you x

LW - so sorry to hear the weekend was carp :( Please try to remember that we need you, the pooches need you for their holibobs and Mr LW needs you. You may not have married him to sponge off him, but I'm guessing you married each other to share things and to look after each other so there is no shame in allowing him to help you :p Lots of ratty hugs (9 in fact!!) coming your way xxx

  • Hi all

LW like Pigpen I have appointeeship for my DS, not sure if you can do this for an adult but it's worth investigating. We got the highest level of care for DS and I cried when the award letter came. I just assumed that when DLA stopped that would be it. The money means that I can work part time and help DS the rest of the time. We have never tried to claim ESA, although we have been told that DS might be entitled to it, because he doesnt get sick notes and it just seems too difficult.

I sound like a stuck record but you are an inspirational person LW and you have every right to feel cr*p at times.

DS1s 17th birthday today so no flying. I am proud of him, he has come a long way and the journey ahead will be no easier but there is a lot to celebrate.

Oh and on a completely different topic we have bats in our loft. Contrary to what the bat society tell you their droppings are foul and their urine stinks. They are going into hibernation at the moment but in the spring of next year we are going to get a skip and empty the loft, everything up there is covered in their leavings.

Well done FBO. An achievement worth marking.
