The other receipt - simply not 10% cheaper - and this time T and M (last one they weren't 10% lower than T and M plus Sains a little) are the 'not 10% cheaper than...' places.

The T comp again comes out best - M comp. lost quite a bit due to some badly-bought (for that comp.) Hellmann's Mayonnaise.

Parsnips coming out v.expensive for M:eek:!
0.43x ASDA Loose Parsnips (PER KG) £0.55 £0.73
    Comparing Avs T 55p.

I don't like in particular the first of these vs M!
    1x Uncle Bens Wholegrain & Med Vegetable microwave Rice (250G) £1.00 £1.67:mad:
1x Uncle Bens Spicy Pilau Microwave Rice (250G) £1.00 N/A

So, Uncle Bens Rices starting to be one of my disliked items now on the M comps. They have been that price (and 2 for £3) in M for a few weeks probably now - but, just starting not to like them on the APG as the wombles for me have lost out a couple of times with them before very recently.

Nothing of interest on the rest of the shop. T comp. - mainly because items were very similar in price - about half of the comparable items pricematched between A and T rather than A ever being 10% lower on the original price paid for shoppers without a staff discount card, a couple within a couple of pence of each other and others not very far out and of course not 10% cheaper overall.

M, S and W on the Parsnips - all of them being compared to there at 73p.

Thanks Munqui, I have managed to play that way but I can't share by email it keeps asking to change application and taking me to google chrome and blank screen. I think it's possibly because Mr TS used my laptop to log on to his gmail before. No idea but can't see how to change it. :(

I haven't really started my christmas shopping yet as its DGD1 b'day tomoz and she is four.
Her mum told me what she wanted me to get and "advised" that she had already ordered in anticipation.
She came around on sunday evening and calmly announced that I could no longer give the said gift as she had decided it was from her for christmas :(
Today I will have to go out and get something but have also been told "no this, no that" etc and walked around Smyths last night and came home with nothing....I feel very hurt as I seem to be pushed out more and more :(

If I were in your shoes DGD1 would only be getting a selection box ...

We do do wish lists in my family, but there are a range of items for a range of prices, and when something is bought from the list it is removed to avoid duplicates.

I would have the right hump if I was told to buy a specific item and then subsequently told not to bother!

If you use incognito/in-private browsing (you can usually right click a link and open incognito/in-private) then it might work - you will have to login to facebook/gmail etc again but might do the trick.

    Congratulations and well done. :T

    The future is brighter now.

It's what you make it of course, but as I found myself, sometimes being in the wrong thing clouds the vision so much you just cannot see any alternative possibilities.

  • And good afternoon all !

Just back from infant nativity. Have to admit to a tiny tear at more than one point.
