I suppose I could add this since I'm feeling happy with my Shop Small day
Eg Buy £1000 of Amazon giftcards. You can put 20 x £50 cards onto your Amazon balance in about 5 minutes total, they are easy as pie compared to 3Vs.
Use your Match & More card. You can buy in any quantity you like at self service till, cover up the small barcode with your thumb.
You can use any money off coupons that Morrisons might have sent you, they have been sending me £10 off £50 coupons which all helps.
Buy £1000 giftcards, get £1000 of value to use in future.
Get 1000-2500 Amex MR points depending on your card – £10-£25.
Hit Amex spend requirements.
Get £1.00 off per litre of petrol/ diesel. With a 60 litre tank = £60 off. Arm yourself with a photocopy of the Morrisons T&Cs relating to multiple coupons as the staff get worried when it’s more than 10p off.

[Is there a maximum amount/limit off fuel?
There is no maximum spend on gift cards but you can only redeem your coupon(s) to a maximum of the Fuel Transaction. Please note that the Coupon(s) is valid for 1 transaction & can only be used up to the maximum retail price of the Fuel. For example, if the fuel you select is £1.32 a litre and your Coupons are worth £1.35 off a litre no change will be given.
The maximum amount of fuel you can purchase in one transaction is 100 litres.]
If so minded, fill a few jerrycans.
Earn 5 M&M points for every £1 you spend in store = 5000 points = £5 voucher.
Earn 10 M&M points for every litre of fuel = 600 points on 60 litres = 60p.
You’ll find that by spending so much at Morrisons, the till will throw out coupons like billyo.
My best £1000 of giftcards got me back nearly £100 (ie they were paying me a handsome profit to take away the petrol) but you obviously need to find a way to use the giftcards. So far I haven’t worked out a good way to recycle the Amazon balance but obvious possibilities would be buying something & either selling it or getting a refund, not sure if non-Amazon retailers would be happy to refund onto a credit card etc or if it gets put back onto your Amazon balance. Somebody should give it a go.
Can I be your second wife

That's unusual! They can keep telling me again and again! The regular occurrence of Morrisons being cheaper, although not nearly cheap enough on the Dolmio jar for my liking. :(Just 70p.
It's because (I think) they didn't buy any r'backs and much of the stuff is about the same price as M or M is a bit cheaper. I reckon comps. vs T can tend to fail, if they buy r'backs, as T goes from high to low to high and back again ('half price' offers) whereas if they buy at A non-r'back, they will at least get A full price vs T full price (about same price as each other as usual:rotfl:) and contribute at least some 10% if not find a T offer:D.

Dolmio Jar at £1.73 is obviously M full price. They go down to 90p (although that's not good enough for me as that's still v.expensive compared to offers on 750g versions).0 -

Evening Savvy :hello:
Do you know the best place for potatoes at the mo?, I've been waiting for the £2 ones in morries but am now potato-less

Depends on whether it's cash or voucher i suppose. Cash would be a local farm @ £5/6 for 25kg.0 -
