Actually, Shop Small has given my day a bit of lift, you remember how we used to charge around in DTD days, clocking up the miles & the bank balance at the same time? Well, this is just the same.


I have got 5 cards to use = £25 every shop. Provided you buy necessary things at the right price, you are genuinely saving £25.


Busy planning a route tomorrow, I am a bit time-limited but I should be able to squeeze in another 5 shops I think.

In the past when I have had a refund from amazon, that has gone back as it was paid, part gift card, part card balance.

Hmm, I wonder what might happen if you buy item from non-Amazon retailer, use (say) £499 from your Amazon giftcard balance but £1 from your credit card. They might find it easier just to refund to 1 payment vehicle.


A bit like with the 3Vs @ most gas & elec cos - you had a direct debit set up but paid in advance (say) £1000. When you switched provider, most of them just used the direct debit details to refund you into your bank a/c. Got caught out by rotten EDF, who refunded me £1000 onto 3Vs lol

Minding 2 of the grandchildren for a couple of days this week and just doing a c and c thought i may add some.

If i recall correctly it's 12 for £6. The apg only sees maximum of 10 of 1 item so if you buy 11 identical and 1 other the till sees the 12 and you pay £6 but the APG machine sees 11 and compares at the full cost of 11 as it stops at 10 when you actually had 11 of 1 item)
