Has anyone tried selection boxes vs M today to see if the M 2 for £2 deal was picked up on the APG?

QOC, good luck with the resignation. I am so glad I have resigned and would never go back to that job (it used to be the best job ever) but am now feeling that I am a bit useless even though I only finish on the 17th January (2 months notice).
I have qualifications but looking at the nhs application forms is like another language! So different from when I applied many moons ago. Even applying for a non qualified McMillan sitter post is complicating. I do need to earn something a month but it doesn't have to be the same amount if we are very careful.
If I could understand glitching then I would get more involved and perhaps help the thread and make a profit at the same time.
I still haven't told my mum, brother or sister that I have handed my notice in :o
I wish you every success in your next venture :)

I think it's natural to start feeling a little apprehensive Josie......it's a big change for you and it's tied up with a strong work ethic and wondering if you'll manage financially.I wonder if it would help to turn it on its head and celebrate the fact.....start of an exciting new chapter in your life etc and sell it to your family as the best thing since sliced bread:D

You will be fine I'm sure.....get the bargains now when you can.....if all else fails beans on toast is a really healthy meal:D:cool:

I mentioned to mr TM tonight that he's let one of "his " yoghurt go out of date.

He said that it's impossible to eat everything:o:rotfl:

Thank you :) I have already given them my notice, but I'm on the verge of going sick until my last day. I've only got two and a half weeks left but my mental or physical health won't last that long :o

NHS applications - use the person spec and job description and match your application to them. Where they're looking for X quality, give an example of how you meet it. I'm probably making it sound a lot harder than it actually is but I hope you get what I mean :)

I would love to go off sick till the end but I have so many safeguarding hand-overs to do that I just can't, I'd feel too guilty and it wouldn't be fair on my clients or colleagues, though I shake going to work every time and worrying is ruining all my time off.
Thank you for your advice on the applications.:)

Earlier in the day, we thought that the 3 for £2 might include all the other tubes of sweets such as smarties, pastilles etc. which were also priced at £1. So I tested them in store, unfortunately the multibuy didn't kick in.

To me the definition of a tube is a long hollow cylinder and I was merely pointing out that the Maltesers were not in a cylinder tube but in an oblong carton, so that people could get the right ones.[1] I also pointed out that the weight of the said carton was 75g as opposed to the 100g in the cylinder shaped tubes.

[2] I only said I sounded like Savvy as I know you are pedantic about weights and that is an observation not a criticism.

Hope that clears up any misunderstanding. Enjoy your Maltesers.

[1] I thought you were referring to the Christmas Tubes, which you call cartons. I now understand there are only 75g ones, although what bemused me is that there appears to be two different descriptions (with one, that I got, repeating 75g on the description, but using a capital G on the second occasion). I suspect you may have edited that bit out?

Anyway, I'm pleased I got what was best. I thought I'd gone for some real downsized version - which is probably the case now for all of us as they probably have been downsized to 75g for everyone and now they are the only ones anyone can get:mad::rotfl:. My original calculations though, if correct, were based on the 75g weight, so all is well.

Had you in fact got 100g Maltesers Tubes AKA Cartons, I would have said it was good on you and other people for not being pedantic about the weight, picking up a 100g in seeming error but which then turned out to have been the best thing to have done:). Whereas me, I unfortunately am pedantic about the weight and exact product, get the exact product as described, it then turns out to have been 75g but others would have got some 100g one. It's sometimes wrong to be too accurate. However, here, a "100g" version turns out not to exist. I think you just confused me by talking about something else that is 100g weight (that you didn't want other people buying in error). I don't think there is a Maltesers 100g tube (as in the individual ones) like there is with Smarties for example - I suspect I'm being too accurate. Hexatube (individual of those) [my emphasis] is 38g.

[2] I knew you were observing (or, maybe, acceptably joking?) about the weights, as indeed we have to be and have to be exact here most of the time in order to ensure we pick up the right item. There is nothing wrong with sounding like me:T. Thanks - no criticism (in any negative sense) was ever taken.

I assume, fwiw, the BC on the Maltesers is the same as me: ends 43424 and dropped digit.

Found this leaflet in one of my magazines. Maybe not moneysaving and I've no idea what they'll taste like but might interest someone:)

Correction, no need for online banking, visit https://nationwide.visaoffers.eu/portal/edo/home and you need your N4tionwide debit card (register email, confirm through the link sent by email, add name and debit card number, password, sorted).

I suspect that if you use separate email addresses you could register more than one card if you have one.
