    Morning All,

Going out in a bit, lidl first for the half price deals, hopefully some meat left, they tend to save some for the Sunday shoppers and then to get a C&C and pick up some cidre.

Will be checking the Finish price and if good put an order in for later.
Anyone want me to check anything?

Need to top up a gift card to £144. I see MatthewS has a few. I spend a lot but not that much. I have only just realised this opportunity, I'm a bit slow at times :(

    got three more today.

also some babywipes (12 packs) are RTC in store.

Ooooh I love a good coupon....made an effort to print some out today.

Got 2 Covent Garden ones and got a couple of the skinny ones in A

Cidres and the porridge ones I picked up in S last week.....S allowed me to put 5 through.:T

The Barilla pasta has gone up in T to £1.50 so I will wait patiently for it to come down in price.
Found an M&S womble .......£5 off when you spend £30 so now the race is on to get the mymail fivers and I have to find 24p on valued opinions to get to £10.50 when I can withdraw a tenner.

That's nearly a shop in itself. :rotfl:I'm planning to get tins of M&S biscuits for Christmas ......love a good tin......they get lots of use throughout the year transporting cakes:)

used to love couponing, pity its such a rare event now, its been such fun getting the cidres

    and with nerves of steel

I clear my cc cards every month - could not sleep unless I did, the long cold hungry decades have taught me that.

As to getting 3% on savings - very few places now pay more than 1%

I thought with these 0% cards you had to at least pay the minimum amount (is it 5% each month) so your hypothetical £500 could not be tied up in a long term bond and would have to be in an instant access account

For standard risk free savings mhoc there's nothing to touch the Santander account. I think you can have accounts in your own name and a joint account too......so if I'm correct that's £60K earning 3% and cashback on utilities etc

  • I finally decided to do a glitchy A c/c for dishwasher tabs.
Ordered 3 boxes with a bottle of whisky and other shopping to get it to £75.00 as I had a £10.00 off £75.00
With apg vouchers it came to £45.00 ish
When I got there they kept me waiting for over 30 minutes and I was getting a bit flustered after reading some of the stories on here.
Anyway 2 of them were stood discussing my order before they marched up to my car ,I was nearly wetting myself by then.
To cut a long story short I had manages to select "no subs" by mistake.
There was no tabs and no whisky so the cost of my shopping was £19.00 less the £30.00 ish e vouchers.
I didn't ask how much it was as I was so relieved not to get marched off somewhere, but I think £11.00 was mentioned.
Not showing anything in bank account but my apg vouchers and c/spend are still showing on my A's account so I am completely lost now.
I "think " if they take £11.00 ish from my bank and I keep apg vouchers it should be about right and I will think myself lucky that they have not nicked them.
Sorry this is so long , oh and I got over £20.00 apg from this shop :T:T:T:T
