HiYA guys, Just got the contract this morning looks great , with all these benifits woohoo lol.
Ok so what I am really stuck on is the vetting stuff? Do I just take my passport to the solicitor and get it photocopied and also they sent two pre paid envelopes I thought we only needed one?0 -

Training is paid so he should declare the hours he has worked the next time he signs on (after starting training) and the job centre will advise him if it will reduce his jsa or if it is enough hours to need to sign off. Depends when in his JSA cycle training starts whether he signs off the first time he signs on after starting or the second.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Yes very colourful isn't it!!
Reading through the contract i've seen some interesting and dodgey things. Dodgey not in a bad way but just odd!
Eg: Paying out for a solicitor and then only providing one peice of identification? Normally they (Employment places) take 2 minimum.
Then it tells us to take a photocopy with us of our document and yet in the thing that the solictor has to sign it says that they have photocopied that document themselves. So that's dodgey!
I have 3 prepaid. As far as I can gather one is for the equal opportunities form (the ethical thingy one), another for the solicitors stuff, and the contract, bank details etc in the other.
Do correct me if i'm wrong.
What I can't work out and don't understand is the clause about the pay for the public holiday in 8.3.3 which then refers to 8.2.5. I don't understand 8.2.5!0 -
Hmmm I have got 2 pre paid I will ring them and ask whats going on.
So I went to the solicitor and I got a official letter done signed and stamped and I got my passport photocopied and stamped and thats it filled in forms and they are ready to go.0 -

They told me training would start the 18th March if we were successful, is that when yours is?"If you hear a voice within you say "you cannot paint," then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced". ~Van Gogh~0
