A real work at home job

I emailed the recruiter again and this is what I got back:
I thought that our interview did go well and I thought you would be a good fit with TeleTech@Home. So from here, I will begin looking for a position for you that matches your skill set and your availability of 5pm or later. Once I find something that matches both of those, I will give you a call to go over the details of that position and make sure that it is a fit at that time. Until then, I will be in touch weekly via email to let you know that I am still looking for a position for you and for you to know that you can reach out to me with any questions or concerns
So it's good news, but don't know how long I will have to wait. In the meantime, If I get offered the job at John Lewis I will take that as it is more money:p
This is exactly the same email i got in January and others have had it too. Seems like a generic email that is sent outComping since 5th March 2008

Rebekah: I am like you and cannot fill in my CRB on line due to not living at my address for 12 months. How did you contact the CRB. I thought I would have to print out a form (and sods law, my printer is not working). How did you do it? Thanx. Pat
Heya. I followed the contact? link looking for contact information and emailed them. Or there is a bit on the page about if you have not lived here for a year then click here. Think it was somewhere off of that click and under basic disclosure.0 -

That's what I thought. I won't hold my breath though, I want the job in John Lewis, so I hope I get that, I only seen it advertised late Tuesday afternoon and the closing date was yesterday, so I was lucky that my application got there on time:D0 -

Hi
Very interested in working for Teletech. Could someone tell me how do I disable my IP address from the internet so that my IP address starts with the '192' number I believe is needed for Teletech equipment?
Also, if I have to purchase a router like the ones I noticed some of you mentioned already, what do I connect it too? It maybe simply but I'm not technical at all.
I want to make sure Im all sorted before I even approach Teletech.
Thanks guys!0 -

Very simply put. Lead from telephone point into router lead from router into pc! That's the basis of it!! I'm sure others will advise you which leads and which hole.0 -

Thanx. Found it. Just a case of waiting now.0 -
So the router is connected to the telephone line and pc. Is this only for dial-up? I have broadband and have a modem connected to pc, so what would the router be connected to, between extra?
If you could be specific.
thanks to those helpful people0 -
I had an email with an invite for an online meeting this afteroon at 2pm as the hiring finishes 10th march for this hiring group so they said.

If you use someone like Virgin on cable BB you need to buy one type of router that sits between the cable modem and the PC, if you are on ADSL broadband (via the telephone line) then you may need an ADSL modem router or standard router depending on how you are set up at the moment. If you tell us who you use for internet access we will have a better idea of what you need to do.0
