was just asked at interview about telephone line. I am really confused about this. Teletech website f,a,q,'s doesn't exclude cable but interviewer advised me to check with Virgin whether it is analogue or digital and seemed to be saying that I will need to get a B.T. line installed!!!

Hi, yes a virgin cable line is fine as its still a analogue phone line
and works in the exact same way as a BT line would do

What is not allowed is whats called a VOIP line like Vonage or Skype for
example, this works by using your internet connection and does not meet
the quality or security requirements, some people use these to get a 2nd
line with its own number without having to have a 2nd physical line installed.
