rare, you just got to share it with everybody,

Working for teletech is great, and I dont even have to sit in
traffic every day or pay for petrol!.

  • So oliver so tell me more about your hours and how good is the pay for the hours you do? I am hoping to get atleast 30+ hours

So i'm now on the waiting shelf with everyone else! LOL.

How did the rest of this weeks interviewee's get on?

    Hi RebekahR

I had telephone interview on 18th Jan and have been receiving weekly e-mails on a Friday to say they are still looking for a position which meets my availability and skill set!

I am so wanting to get started and like many others, EARN SOME DOSH!

Why are you buying a phone? I thought they supplied them.

You will get a headset and basestion phone supplied for work,
but this might be towards the end of your training period

So just get yourself a cheep speakerphone for the training

    is what I used.

Yep, don't spend any major money on a phone for training, get a cheapo corded one with speakerphone, you will be sent a phone base station and headset towards the end of training. Once you receive this all you do is plug the base into you telephone line and connect the headset to the base, the software cd controls the rest for you and the only thing you have to do most nights is press the connect button on the phone at the start and end of the shift.
During training you will be on the phone a lot so getting a phone that is corded and has speakerphone capabilities will save you a lot of grief, if you get one without handsfree you have to juggle the phone while using the pc etc and it can be a pain the proverbial ;)

We got ours the end of the first week of training but one guy had issues with his and didn't get it til towards the end and it didn't affect his training.
You don't absolutely need to buy anything-and anything you buy will be redundent once the headset/combi arrives as you'll be using the official one so unless you have another use for it -it might be a waste of money.
I waited til the end of week 2 training to set mine up as I was waiting for a new phoneline to be installed and had no difficulties with using a handset for training until then.
Hands free is useful but not essential although you will find you'll be doing a fair bit of notetaking.

I know this is a money saving board, but a £7.99 speakerphone is better than having a sore ear and only one hand free while trying to take notes in training till your teletech phone arrives,

Or maybe I am just a softie :D
