Out of interest-and I understand if no-one wants (or is allowed ) to post a response but what has the drop-out rate been like in training ?

can anyone confirm if other people can use internet while you are using the workboot sytem- I know there were issues with it

As long as they are not heavily using the bandwidth ie heavy downloading
you should get away with it ok.

My wife if shortly finishing her training and is due to go live on thursday. Everthing has been fine up until last night. They started taking some training calls last night so had to run the workbooth cd (all fine) and then run the avaya telephony software). It's at this point that the mouse becomes totally unusable and non -responsive. It is a usb mouse, the mousepad on the laptop also stops working. We spoke to teletechs tech help desk and were told to try a ps2 mouse - no difference whatsoever!!!

I use a bog standard usb mouse without a problem at all, is the mouse ok up till the point where something loads? If so what loads prior to it locking up? Have you tried not plugging the mouse in until everything is runnig?

Ive just been on the teletec website to apply for a home phone job. Couldnt find 1 so i spoke to wilma on live help and she said that there was no training available for the uk yet? How do you go about getting a home phone job?

Yippee,
My shift change was approved I am now on the 5-9
works better for me as it allows me to go out earlier on Saturday
night

Well Done Oliver. Glad that you have got the shifts you want.

I am just waiting at the moment to see about everything. I think that I have a job with them but waiting for training date etc. Hope that they will have shifts available for me.

Oliver how do you go about chossing the shifts. I didn't understand the email ?

I have my first and only night of nesting tonight before my first shift 2mrw. I feel sick im so nervous :eek:
