  • Hi Oliver - yes got the 2nd CD today and i'm getting the same problem with it. My PC passes the technical requirements test, i just tried it again to be sure, so i don't get it. The CD loads up ok but then after the multicoloured text, the screen goes blank and the whole PC seems to freeze (and then the only way for me to switch it off is at the mains, which isn't good!).

I'm sorry to have gone on about this in this thread - i'm just clutching at straws hoping that someone's had the same problem and sorted it.

Are there any cordless phones that i can use with their headset does anyone know, as if I have got the job this would be an easier option?

they send you a phone + headset to use, so you will need
a normal telephone socket near your workspace

Edit: Infact I have just seen your post in the "Techy"
group, saying you will be working in a summerhouse
150ft away from your house, So the main question
is how are you going to connect to the internet from the
    summer house?

    Oliver - anybody - help???

My wife if shortly finishing her training and is due to go live on thursday. Everthing has been fine up until last night. They started taking some training calls last night so had to run the workbooth cd (all fine) and then run the avaya telephony software). It's at this point that the mouse becomes totally unusable and non -responsive. It is a usb mouse, the mousepad on the laptop also stops working. We spoke to teletechs tech help desk and were told to try a ps2 mouse - no difference whatsoever!!!

Anybody else come across this or have some suggestions?

    Thanks
