I want to sell my house!

I love the house on the outside , the style of it etc. It looks smart on the inside to .
When I bought my house , I didnt pay any attention to the inside decor as I would always stamp my own mark , I understand the window dressing of a house with cushions , rugs etc. but I must be one of the few peple who would not pay attention to things like it looking homely ,as I would visualize it the way i would want it to look and want it the way I would want it to look with my own style as everyones is different. When i bought my house it was hideous inside absoloutely discusting everything, colour scheme , kitchen etc, but I saw past that, decorated , new kitchen / new bathroom and now 8 years later everyone comes in and says " your house is so lovely & unusual ". In the beginning they felt sorry for me !!really:p , as it was a real neglected dump in quite a nice road!. Nobody wanted to buy it.
This house looks ready to move into, if it had been where I live , I would buy it( would have to see local area etc).
( not saying you change this butif I moved in I would change floors etc get wooden, change kitchen, bathroom anyway. Thats not that I dont think it is nice, but my point is most people change things anyway to suit their style and what they like. Somebody may not like my style and change that too . But it is ready for somebody to move into and am suprised it has not been sold yet as it looks lovely and it is all lovely and smart / functional and somebody has kept it nice. Its not like it needs anywork for a young couple. If I had moved in to it it would have been an easy job for me compared to what i did buy!. But again I would look at local area , schools etc before buying as cushions etc , window dressing I think minor details , but of course they do help places to sell, but I just visualise.

Just found this thread, so only seen the newer photos but it still looks a little clinical, after stepping in from the period frontage.
A close friend of mine lives in this area, in a very similar but smaller cottage. She has furnished it sympathetically, with antique furniture and cosey fabrics everywhere - it's not to my taste but it really suits the style of the house. Oh, and they only paid £89,000 for it last year.
They've had a few problems with vandalism and kids hanging round too.0 -
It looks much better, I am sure it will attract more buyers. :beer:0

Here are the new pictures, do you think they are any better?
As someone who is looking for exactly that type of property those photos would deffo make me view it.
Floorplan is always good however.0 -

Where about does she live? The only other cottages in the area I can think off are the terrace ones at the top of Bluebell Lane next to the Rose and Crown pub. Is it there?0
