I guess that 1 to 2 week wait was pessimistic.

The reason I pointed out the seller is that they are China based and use a UK front, info here. As much as anything its important to know who you are actually buying from because if you have a problem there is no comeback. Once again, I'm not disagreeing with you. It's not a comparison with the Vodafone. But more that the Vodafone was seen as such a bargain at £125 in the first place.
As to GlobalGrow, the issue for me is not that they are based in China, but whether their customer service is any good.
