We do have loads of things in common but also lots of differences.

I'm always warm in the house and wanting windows open, he lies there shivering with the quilt up to his chin while I'm hanging out of the bed half naked trying not to die of overheating!

He loves marmite, I can't even be in the same room as an open jar!

I like eating seafood; he will have cod from the chippy, and prawns, but everything else is Disgusting and Evil. I like spicy, he'll maybe have a korma or butter chicken if he's feeling adventurous.

Most of our differences are with food, lol

But I have some weird ones that always make me the odd one out, for example I loathe ketchup it makes me want to run away screaming

He likes pretty much everything, ever and I am more picky... he often plays trance/garage/house in the car and I can't bear it!

He loves Radiohead, they make me wanna stab my eyes out. But my favourite music is all very juvenile American ska punk type stuff... not everybody's cup of tea... it's difficult for him to endure :P Especially as I pretty much just play the same old playlists of fave songs over and over again and don't often discover new music that I like

To balance it out - we both love motorbikes.

We can live with each other's hobbies and share a few. I like reading, going to the gym, playing the piano,cycling and going to the theatre. My Oh is into trains and electronics, gym and cycling but I usually go to the theatre with one of my daughters or a friend although he will come to something he is not that keen on if I wanted to see something and had no one else to go with. He doesn't read novels but I go to a book club and I will go on days out with him to indulge his train interests but he also belongs to a model railway club so has friends who share his hobby. He is off tomorrow on a long weekend to show off their model railway layout at an exhibition with his club.

We rarely watch TV together though except for films as I like drama -downton abbey, old fashioned dramas and he likes car shows like top gear and motorway cops etc etc. his channel flicking gets on my nerves anyway so I would rather go and play the piano or read. We both like Big Bang theory though ����

I love Strictly - he heads out of the room as soon as the great music comes on.
