3 PAYG seems cheaper than 1m contract - what am I not getting?

World number 1 as handset maker, I thought that would be obvious to someone who has supposedly followed the mobile industry for years...
Nokia Mobile is Microsoft Mobile. Until such time as the buy out terms...its after Alcatel Lucent now Nokia Networks, Nokia handsets will be back and no doubt it will probably promote Microsoft products/apps as part its sell off agreement.
Wonder when its mobile exclusion is up and Alcatel will strive to become Nokia, and will the merger take the Nokia brand? Alcatel is much cheaper to run given third world countries production, Nokia Euro production was expensive.
Nokia mobile ohhh I fancy one of them..I'll just have to stick with my Windows Nokia until Nokia re-enter the mobile arena.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Who did virgin buy their 4g spectrum off, as far as recall they didnt buy any at the auction?
Virgin resold T-Mobile, it now resells EE 4G to its Virgin Media Business customers, us mere mortals get access like old Orange customers to 3G.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Where was Nokia Mobile (the Microsoft brand which disappeared in 2014) mentioned?
Nokia (the company) is completely out of the handset making business as of 2015 and that's what I was referring to, I didn't say when Microsoft Lumia become number 1, I said when Nokia become world number 1 again.
Do you think you could stop trying to argue every little point by changing what is said in a rash of hyperactive paragraphs?====0 -
diamonds you are crazy.......
Nokia make no handsets - but there is talk about them restarting their handset division after selling the Lumia division to Microsoft. They have launched a tablet already.
Nokia do not own skype - Nokia and microsoft are 2 very different companies.
Virgin have no 4g spectrum (or any mobile spectrum at all as far as i am aware) and are a MVNO - i.e IMHO they dont count as a network and shouldn't even be spoken about when discussing spectrum, networks and mergers.0 -

Nokia is buying Alcatel-Lucent, they make mobiles. Nokia aspires to where it once was, it can get there again.
Replying to comments is hyperactive ? No wonder our education system is a apparent mess...arguing indeed lol behave yourself d123SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Nokia Mobile exists as Microsoft until as such time as the sale terms specify that Nokia is a non handset manufacturer. Nokia handsets are still for sale new, not just Windows Phone OS, all Nokia Mobile products are Microsoft. Nokia Mobile owners (Microsoft) own Skype, the Nokia Mobile licence to brand such is Microsofts currently.
Nokia is buying Alcatel pending the sale term requirements of Nokia Mobile being completed. Back to handsets.
Agree, Virgin are a MVNO, I was clarifying such to the poster.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

So how many phones has the company Nokia produced in 2015?
You do also realise that Alcatel-Lucent is not the maker of the cheap phones currently branded as Alcatel?
This is Alcatel-Lucent:Alcatel-Lucent invents and delivers the innovative networks of tomorrow.
Every success has its network.

This is the completely separate Chinese company called TCL Communications that manufactures mobile phones as Alcatel Mobile:ALCATEL ONETOUCH is a brand within TCL Communication, an international multicultural company which designs, develops, and markets globally a growing range of mobile and Internet devices. TCL Communication is a public company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (2618.HK) and part of TCL Corporation one of the largest consumer electronics companies in the world.

No, as above, Nokia are merging with Alcatel-Lucent, not Alcatel (which belongs to the Chinese maker TCL), so not back to handsets there...====0 -
You would need to confirm that with Nokia Mobile owners Microsoft, off the top of my head two, Lumia 940 and 940XL as new models, with manufacture of many previous released pre 2015 Windows8 models ongoing.
Alcatel-Lucent owns and has licenced patents rights for mobile and network manufacture
Why would Nokia buy such ? Some rights and patents left Nokia with Nokia Mobile.
Nokia sold Nokia Mobile for its own long term security of existence.
Alcatel like Nokia Mobile is a licenced brand. TCL and Microsoft hold the worldwide rights.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

You really do need to go and read up before spouting any more...
Alcatel Mobile is an independent brand and nothing to do with Alcatel-Lucent (they just both happen to share the word "Alcatel"), Alcatel-Lucent used to be a minority shareholder in Alcatel Mobile but sold its share to the Chinese company TCL (who was the majority shareholder) and its now a wholly owned subsidiary of TCL, it's GONE and even if Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent merge there is NO mobile phone division in either companies structure.
Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent are similar companies in similar industries, but no more spoon feeding, you can go and get some education all by yourself.====0
