Sat 7th/Sun 8th November - what small DFW things will you do this weekend? :)

Oh dear - I've gone mad! I've just spent 90 mins in the kitchen roasting nearly-out-of-date veg before it goes off and making pearl barley risotto for my lunches for next week. The things we do to keep up with our 'take a packed lunch' pledge :rotfl:
Hoping the rubbish weather doesn't put folk off coming out to yoga tonight... It would me if I wasn't teaching it!
Happy Sunday everyone!

Update from me :
Done my list from yesterday apart from the clothes and the washing getting done. 2 reasons for this. To be honest cba to do the clothes
after lack of sleep this weekend  and our planned day in today was slightly scuppered by spending 2 hours with smallest DD at walk in as she had a bad foot and wouldn't walk on it. Thankfully worst bit of experience was wait. They said she was ok and diagnosed nurofen and cuddles
Couldn't do washing as WM decided not to drain yesterday, DH been trying to fix it. Have a big tub of dirty washing and a load of very wet washing
load on now - hopefully it's worked.
Great night last at BF party, spent less than £20 all evening. A really good reminder that planned spending in budget can be good for the soul
Off to cook tea - early night all round I think

Yes, I am finding the combination of daily posting and a supportive and positive group very helpful.

Good evening
I'm not sure where the rest of the day has gone. One minute it was half past three and now suddenly it's eight o'clock. As I suspected dh has decided that he's not well enough for work tomorrow. I'm just surprised that he's actually made a decision for once... This will be the start of week 7 now.

Hi all,
Extremely late to update but thought I ought to anyway rather than lurking.
Saturday I was working 8-6 so didn't have time for any spending which was a good thing I suppose.
Came in on Saturday night (currently stay with father in law) and had a Chinese takeaway waiting for me which was really good seeing as I skipped lunch.
I contacted my phone company on Saturday night as this is the third month in a row that they haven't applied the credit that I'm due back onto my Direct Debit, was assured again that it would be applied in time for the 21st (my DD date) however I'm sceptical.
Today I have done nothing at all, I've lay around the house with my girl watching TV and colouring in with her. My team were playing on TV and she sat watching it with me lol great times.
Usually we would all go out for a family day out on Saturday or Sunday and go for lunch etc but we're finalising on a house within the next few weeks and every penny is a prisoner.
I've a few things I could be listing on Ebay etc tonight so am going to get washed then crack on with that.
Hope you all had a great weekend
J0
