He may be shocked and surprised. If I were you, I would be prepared to accept that his immediate reaction may be different from what he does and says once he's had time to think about it all for a longer time. It probably won't happen, but I'd be prepared to forgive his immediate and early on reaction if it is negative, but he gets more used to the idea a bit later.

Hi, congrats btw.

(the pill is over 99% accurate at preventing pregnancy if taken correctly-a lot of people who get pregnant on the pill have usually missed a pill/been sick/tummy upset etc....)
