"Sealed pot Challenge" ~ 9

:hello: Good morning everyone,

Only 20p to pot today, and I don't think I will have much to pot between now and Christmas as cash is really tight.

I will be carrying on with various online earnings and once I have enough to cash out will declare and put in my pot.

Yesterday, I finally made a start on the Christmas pressie shopping. Still more to do but at least I've started.

DH has gone to work and DD and DS are getting ready to both go out to their respective jobs, so I will be on my own for most of the day. I will have to do some food shopping so will get some more Christmas food to put away, and I really must get the decorations up.:xmastree:

Talk about coincidence!!!:rotfl: Someone a few posts back asked about whether there was still a Virtual Sealed Pot challenge and Westie very kindly supplied a link. It sounded interesting so I dashed over there to see what it was all about. I saw that you were the person who started and ran it:T but sadly the posts seemed to dry up fairly early in the year as posters disappeared. Westie seems to be a stalwart and is still posting there:beer:. I came back over here and suddenly here you are, Nix:T

Is the Challenge going to run in 2016 please, and are you planning to run it again?:)

Well, nothing added to SP but I'm mighty glad I have the Holding Pot in place;). The lid's red-hot from being taken on and off so often this last few days:o

Very well done to everyone who's managing to pot anything in this expensive month:beer:

Come on, theresamum!!! You CAN DO IT and then.....look ahead to a lovely holiday and Christmas! We've had no end of members now and in th past who have never saved before joining us, BUT they stuck to it and LEFT THEIR POTS SEALED and were ecstatic when they finally opened them, just like you will be!! :j

Treat your pot like a ticking bomb and, unless you're putting money in, leave well alone!!!!!! Keep saving well as you'll be so proud you did this time next year!

20p is better than nowt, wealthygirl, and re the poor savings between now and Christmas, you're not alone I promise you. Do what you can when you can and be proud of it. Best wishes with buying your gifts.

You're using your Holding Pot brilliantly, carbootcrazy, ver well done you! BTW Don't forget that you too can include all VSC totals in your SPC savings next November, I hope that helps a bit.

Potted a whole €2 from our little bowl at the door!

I was naughty and got a kfc wrap today for lunch, so the change will be going into the pot as well!
