Hi Sue, yes please I'd love to give it a try. I'm not already a member, I've not done this before.

    Thanks :)

In that case we'd love to have you with us, ravilious fan. A very warm welcome to you! :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter when you post of your conquests. BTW. You'll find your number below this welcome. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 3rd Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

ravilious fan -Please note that your No is 004. The previous owner has not returned, if she does she's welcome to re-join and be given a new No. BTW. Apologies earlier, my fault entirely as I hadn't read your previous post properly...too hugry! :o
Not to worry, tatabubbly, not too naughty, after all we do need to eat, and at least you potted the change afterwards. ;)

Another consistent potter, frasersmum, very well done. :D

That's such a joy to read, Karona!!! It's so good to see folk really realising just how much they're saving instead of wasting! You'll go far with this addiction! :j
:xmassmile Have a lovely evening, Potters....those POTS can rest up a while! _party_

  • Come on, theresamum!!! You CAN DO IT and then.....look ahead to a lovely holiday and Christmas! We've had no end of members now and in th past who have never saved before joining us, BUT they stuck to it and LEFT THEIR POTS SEALED and were ecstatic when they finally opened them, just like you will be!!

Treat your pot like a ticking bomb and, unless you're putting money in, leave well alone!!!!!! Keep saving well as you'll be so proud you did this time next year!

Thanks sue for the words of encouragement i am going to carry on :) going to leave it alone and keep adding money to it :)

oooooh your poor little DD, jakes-mum!! Bad enough with the finger, but then to have a poorly tummy through the night; could well have been something she ate...though it's that time of year, who knows. Good to hear she's better today and helping YOU watch some Christmas films. I remember what you're like of old!! ;)

Ahh TY Sue and everyone else, DD is fine, I haven't even bothered to strap the finger back up as shes totally unbothered by it and she wasn't sick again after that night so hopefully it was just the shock/something she ate :D

Sue, didn't you give Brass_Triumphant number 004 a few pages back or am I going a bit more doolally than I already am?

Well we took out the old bed from our room and found a £1 under my side :D definitely wasn't mine but its in my pot now :D:D Am furious though as bed was delivered yesterday and its the wrong bleedin one! No 1/2 ottoman and no drawers, just a standard bed frame  rang them up and they are telling me thats all I paid for, much ranting by me with many forceful reminders that I told their sales assistant 4 TIMES! what we wanted AND she wrote it down! He tells me to accept the bed (as ours was outside in the rain!) and they would 'sort something out afterwards'. 20 mins later he rings back, sales assistant remembers me (haha, who wouldnt!) and remembers exactly what I ordered, admitted immediately that she had put it through wrong and they are sending me the right base (albiet after the new year :( ) for no extra cost :D

a bit of loose change in my pot as well so all in all not a terrible weekend! though having to cope with no wardrobe, chest of drawers or ottoman bed until after christmas when ive got 2 kids christmas presents to hide is not my idea of fun.

Oh dear Jakes-mum, what a mix up. Glad the SA remembered you though and it will eventually get sorted :)

    £2 potted today.

Its hard to save at this time of the year, but every little counts, and Christmas is nearly here. There are 10 months after Christmas to save save save :D:D

    Have a great week everyone.

  • Evening all, just checking in :santa2:. I've fallen off the wagon a little with Christmas looming, however potted around £7 in change yesterday and I have 5p roadkill to pot this evening. I'm so busy with preparations for Christmas and working extra shifts (DH has found himself unexpectedly out of work :() but must try harder to pot more and check in regularly.

    Hope everyone is well,
    SP x
  • Sue - I noticed you gave ravilious 004

You gave that No to myself a few days ago! Not to worry I can have a different No and I'll edit my Signature.

    Thanks
