Can I join and get a number please?

I have just bought 4 Tins for £2 £1 silver and copper so this will keep me motivated and stop me using those pennies at work on to much coffee/vending machine.

We'll be happy to have you join us, Brass_Triumphant. A very warm welcome to you! It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter when posting your conquests! You'll find your number BELOW THIS POST. Please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 3rd Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Brass_Triumphant - Please note that your No is 004. The previous owner has not returned, if she does she's welcome to re-join and be given a new No. :D

A splendid welcome, Lynne, thanks so much, and here's a small reward. :staradmin

A very good Friday, Potters, enjoy it and look forward to a really lovely weekend! {{{Hugs}}} to all our family members feeling poorly, I sincerely hope you're all much better soon. :)

Not to worry, 32b3, we honestly don't hold folk to their words....yet! None of us can help our batteries running out...I'm sure mine's starting to go!
A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, TheCatsandDogsMother!!!

We've noice cream and sparklers, but here's your cake :bdaycake: Try not to panic too much ablout the Christmas presents, you'll get there.

ooooh poor you, Helen, having our ears syringed is horrible as it completely throws us for a good while. I hope you're feelig ok now. I hope your Mym's soon feeling much better too.

I had a great giggle at this Sue! :rotfl:

Managed to pot another 30c from buying some yoghurt..

I'm glad you did, tatabubbly, but with that in mind, it begs the question.......whatever's the yoghurt for???!! :rotfl: This isn't a confessions thread you know. ;) Although, if you wish to, we won't stop you! :rotfl:

Brilliant potting, Kerry! 3p roadkill too!!!!! :T

Been a week since I've potted anything; Christmas has got in the way!! At least, thanks to the SPC, I have a nice amount for Christmas presents etc.

But, all is not lost... I've potted 50p. :)

Thanks to SPC eh, Vicky! It certainly takes a weight off the mind. :D 50p is better than nowt.
5p roadkill from Tesco yesterday. I find that loitering round the self scanning section in my local express store is great for pennies other people don't want :D

Well done, frasersmum! If a little loitering helps then why not.

I'm just so pleased we're all helping you, each other too, Mendry. No matter how long we've been on SPC and MSE, we still go on gaining useful little snippets here and there. BTW. None of that was off topic...not to me anyway, good to hear you found some cash to pot though. :j

    Excellent saving, Modesty!!

Very therapeutic work is cleaning the house through, siju, and at least DH gives you a tip for doing so! ;) Bloomin dark and dismal day here too, raining also - for a change.

:xmassmile Enjoy a lovely Friday, Potters, and a LOVELY WEEKEND ahead, and remember....the POTS come first!

None potted today even though I'm not having a NSD. Had to buy lunch in work as there was nothing in this morning and also forked out a tenner for christmas party ticket. Think I'm going to go for a new tactic of transferring money on a sunday to one of my current accounts and that is my budget for the week. Then whatever is left over at the end of that week will go into the pot. I'm on for a good week as new budget is this sunday and I still have £12.40 in the bank so a tenner of that will get withdrawn and put in tomorrow.

Thanks a million for the stars Sue :)

I have potted £10 today for the week. It's great to see so many people managing to keep potting at this time of the year, with all the other demands on the poor pocket - keep it up potters and you'll all reap the benefit :T

Hope you all have a super weekend and manage to stay warm and dry. Don't forget to tell someone that you love them or give them a hug - even if it's a virtual one ;)

No pennies for me today as been stuck at home with a poorly DD :( she came out of school yesterday and said she hurt her finger, i'm all 'oh that was silly' get home and its swollen up and like a red beacon, she's in tears and DH is talking about dislocations and the like  Off we go down A&E and the doc can't see a break but straps it up and asks us to come back monday.
Back home, in bed, I get a 1am wake up call, DD is vomiting :( then again at 3:20am :( get up this morning and she seems ok, take the strap off her fingers as well (sorry for TMI) as it smelt off vomit :(
Halfway through the day, the ospital call and say they have had another look at her xrays and theres a fracture :(
On the upside she says she's not in much pain and even with them not strapped up she's quite happy but she isn't eating much and keeps going a bit white so i'm not sure if she's eaten something funny (as DH also had a bit of a bad stomach) or its just the shock of what happened and she's in pain but desn't really know it (DS also has a rediculously high pain threshhold!)
So i've spent the day watching christmas films and having cuddles
