£4.02 for me this week. Not big savings this week (some weeks are better than others) but it all adds up. It includes another 2p roadkill picked up this week. My daughter picked up a pound at the Bristol City v Leeds match this week. Someone dropped it in the chaos when City scored the winning goal. She's not especially outgoing but she tried to find out who dropped it. Noone claimed it so she left it under her seat! I hope whoever picked it up in the end was happy with their find. I'm proud of her for not taking it but would have pocketed it myself.
When you read a report that 17m Britons have less than £100 savings a challenge like this becomes even more welcome. Thanks again Sue for running this thread and the great encouragement you give to everyone on here.
I think it's going to be very wet today in Bristol which is a bit of a shame as we're taking my cousin's boy to his first ever match. I hope he enjoys it anyway. I don't half waffle sometimes (on here, not in real life).
    Have a good weekend everyone

Hi everyone, don't post very often but still putting £1 a day away and spare change in another pot. Not sure how much is in the pot but it will go towards Xmas I think. As a family we are only buying for the dgc but as its my turn to host Xmas dinner I will be spending a bit on that (not too much though) and its a hm Xmas so that includes cake, biscuits etc.

Hi Sue & fellow potters

Thanks so much for the kind comments about dear FiL. We do indeed miss him very, very much. Jakes mum I hope your son is feeling much better, what a terrible shock it must have been.

I'm just popping in to say a £1 coin and some small change have been potted this weekend. I really do need to get a wriggle on with potting now. Opening day will soon be here

Enjoy the rest of the day folks x

    afternoon everyone,

not been on here for months, no idea where all this time goes. Still been potting away , no idea whats in the pot but suddenly realised we are in October and i need to crack on with filling it up.

really looking forward to opening time but cannot believe its almost here.

Think i need to make a list of where the money will go this year, but obviously depends on whats in there.

Been potting quietly. Felt the pot today and was very happy with it's heaviness.

Hello all Potters, I hope you're all well, saving too...of course. By heck the weeks are flying past so quickly now, not long until declaration day!!! :j

To those of you unwell or with any problems, here are some special {{{hugs}}} to help you get well soon. We're all thinking so much of you. :grinheart Take care!
    Hope everyone is well
I'm rushing round trying to fit too much in and chasing my own tail. I'm sure I keep seeing glimpses of myself turning the corner just in front of me!

Thanks for the giggle at your first paragraph, mrs-moneypenny, it really made me chuckle. :rotfl: To the savings side - brilliant work!! Good luck with the bedroom.

Your total is getting bigger and better with every passing week, MrsShazbat, keep up the amazing work!

Woooohay Lost, what a terrific amount for the month!!! :j

The cheque has been taken to the bank and the $6 potted.
I've also managed to pot another $14 this week :) the upside of doing the shopping for the house all week.

Oooh I'm so thrilled for you, TheCatsandDogsMother, you're doing excellently!! :T

I am up a ladder plastering 'oles in the walls, it is keeping me out of trouble and out of the shops. Potting slowly, but it all adds up.

Ok then f0xh0les, what can I add to that apart from keep looking for more 'oles and stay out of trouble. :rotfl: Well done with your saving too of course!! :D

Hi again Lynsey! That's more great saving, well done as ever. The family isn't too bad but our lass is having problems with her MS, that's 2 lots of treatment that have failed and now it's a case of what's next. So good to see old friends like yourself coming back.

    Well done Dragon Lady!! :D

Hello Lynne. :hello: it's so lovely to have you back with us, but I'm thrilled you've had such a splendid time, it'll have rejuvenated you! Well done with your £10er!!

I wouldn't even dream of commenting on your final sentence, Antomac, never! :silenced:

What a shame your DD felt so driven in finding the owner of that £1, not so bad if the owner had found it, but highly unlikely. :( She's got a lovely heart though, bless her. :heartsmil I hope you made it to the football with your cousin's lad and that he really enjoyed it. Re the savings, we all get good and not so good weeks, do what you can. Thanks for your kind words, it's nice to be appreciated, but I appreciate all you SPC family too! :kisses::kisses:

Hello there NannyG, good to see you again. Sounds to me as though you'll have saved a fair bit for a worry-free Christmas, I hope you have a lovely one! :D

Definitely anything is better than none, mossy, so keep adding to it when you're able and no doubt you'll be thrilled to bits with your savings!!

Little wonder you miss your dear FIL so much, little_sweetie, he was such a huge part of your life, your posts too which shows just how treasured he was. Well done with the £1, it all adds up and won't be long now.

Don't worry, findingmyfeet, the time's flown by for me too, for us all I'm sure. Good to hear you've been saving so very well.

    Well done Chutney!

I'm so pleased you've kept saving so well, Florence. Isn't it amazing when we feel the weight of our pots....all that's within it we've saved!!!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of today, folks, a lovely Wednesday also. Don't forget now....save as you've never saved before!!

Ive got another 2 sales coming up in the next few weeks, this should free up a nice bit of change to go in the pot, as well as shifting a far amount of 'stuff'!

I think I'm going for the smallest amount potted this year :( Just another penny to add. I literally never have any cash. Lots of online shopping and home deliveries paid by card for me as I live a 20 minute drive from the nearest cashpoint. Rural life, eh!
