    :o:o I know, I've let the side down :(
I haven't even got an excuse except maybe that I'm not keen on lots of money lying around not collecting interest!
I'll try to be good from now on.

To those of you unwell or have other issues, here are some special {{{hugs}}} to help you get well soon. We're all thinking of you. :grinheart

Just under £20 potted for me this week. I think the highest amount for me since I started.
I like how you always make a special mention for those who are unwell or have other issues Sue. I had a stinker of a week but I know that compared to what many are going through I'm really lucky. I always try and remember that when times are challenging. Also some special hugs from me (slightly reserved rather awkward manly hugs that is) to all of those who are struggling in one way or another.

Excellent potting, Antomac!!! :dance:You really are going all out to fill your pot as best you can for a good result in November, well done you! I'm glad folk do take notice of the hugs message for those who are maybe a bit under the weather or who have troubles, good to hear you're feeling better now. Nothing makes me realise it even more so than watching the Paralympians this last couple of weeks, how those poor people get on I really do not know but hats off to each one of them....they truly deserve that at least!! :T:j:T

Nothing to pot but I am still reading, I am training for a channel swim, in my local pool so that has taken me away from potting but I'm still here,

Every best wish, Westie, with that channel swim, one heck of a journey to undertake and whether you complete it or not (though somehow I suspect you will) I really admire you for it and all the effort that'll need. :T Good luck to you!

I'd say a huge YES to the "shall I pot it?" query, Frogletina, though I've a suspicion that it's already in your pot! ;)

Good to see your name (and head, who could miss that), mcjordi, well done saving!

Another couple of quid'll do you nicely, Chutney!

We too had the thunder and lightening in Somerset, Dragon Lily, gorgeous it was....bally hot though especially as I was walking nigh on 7 miles each day!! Good for you with the £1!

Very well done indeed on those essays, CatsandDogsMother! See, you procrastinated no longer!! :j Good that the Vet didn't drain your purse!!

I'm forgiving you, The Dapster, as I know you bank it anyway. Another £75 eh, must be looking healthy! :D Take no notice of Ruth as you're not alone in banking your cash after so long....and why not get any interest going!
I have been so tempted to count mine, it's killing me not knowing. Less than 2 months to go though. Not long now.

LEAVE IT ALONE, Ruth, or you'll be the one who's in deep water!! :naughty: Nearly said something different there but thought best not! ;)

Ok MrsShazbat, looking forward to hearing more from you later.

I wish you ALL a smashing weekend, folks despite the weather. Kepp up the potting!

    Sue xx

  • Sorry not been in for ages (or that's what it feels like)
Hope everyone is as well as they can be, hugs and supporting vibes where needed.

While on holiday the bathroom was done then we decided to fast forward the lying of the bedroom carpet so I've been sanding glossing and emulsioning every spare second I had. The carpet was laid this week so we now trying to evidence what's allowed back in and what's heading for the charity shop. Six bags a heading their way in the morning - I hadn't realised how much carp we hang on to till I started sifting through it!

Anyway back on topic I'd put my tub away safety before the decorating started and have only just got it back out, so I figure I'd better bung £20 in as I must owe it at least that much.

    Have a great weekend all?

£10.05 potted this week - the 5p was a very exciting piece of roadkill that I picked up on Monday. Since joining this thread I changed my work travel means to a cheaper but slightly less convenient way to help with the potting. The change in travel and the potting have now become a very welcome habit.
It's very true what you say about the Paralympians Sue - they really are an inspiration.
Wellcome to the new arrivals. I hope it becomes as much a habit for you as it has done for the rest of us. I try not to wish time away but am looking forward to counting up in November.
    Have a good weekend everyone
