Extension is finally being painted :j:j.
Then will have the joy of cleaning up after 6 months of building/decorating work :eek:.
Just the quickest post because must pick up kids in 8 min time, but about to post £33-pay for today, because, unusually, this customer paid me in cash, rather than a bank transfer.Looked like potting-stuff to me.

Hello Potters, I hope you all had a great weekend, a good Monday too. Here's hoping that the rest of the week is good or even better.
Hello again, Louise, so good to see again - and know you're still saving well!!! :T
Well saved, Lynne, though I expected nowt different!! :dance:32b3in2013 wrote: ȣ1.35 potted today. Off out for lunch tomorrow if I can get there despite the road closures for the marathon I should have some change to pot after that

Great savings, 32b3. It made me think when you said about the marathon, I wonder just how many we've done with our Fitbits. :j Talking of which...I feel absolutely bush-whacked today!
You save in as many pots and as differently as you wish, mrs-moneypenny, so long as keep it going we don't give a jot - in a good way!! :grinheart
That's good saving, MrsShazbat, keep it up!We enjoyed a lovely sunny weekend here. Just a shame I couldn't hang out my washing, open the windows etc - all because the fields opposite our house were spread with slurry last week, yuch!!! One of the joys of living in the countryside  I'm actually glad it's raining now :rotfl: Couple more days of decent rainfall and the air will be sweet again :T
:rotfl: I'm not really laughing at your predicament with the slurry pong, siju, as I know what it's like. However, I'd sooner suffer that than what we have here at the moment which is chicken [STRIKE]****[/STRIKE] manure which stinks to high Heaven!!!!I was always brought up with "those sort of smells are healthy", blowed if I think so at times! Whichever way you look at it though, you could say our rural living often lands us in the **** or darned close to it!!!!! :rotfl: Good potting.
Hiya mossy and lovely to see you, I hope you're able to keep up the good luck spell with the £2s.
Very well done on the £6 lotto win, Westie!! :T It really is good to hear about folk winning at least something on it these days.
Well at least all that walking will have benefited you no end, MrsC....tobe, good to hear you enjoyed yourselves even if work has since brought you slap down to earth!! Enjoy your freeby nights out.
Nice to see you, Karona...and that you're potting well. Don't wish November along too quickly as I've still a LOT of saving to go - I hope!!

I am so VEEERRRRRRYYYY thrilled for you, Saver-upper!!! Sounds as though you're in....."the final countdown" dadadadadadadadada :j
I'll go along with the "Looked like potting stuff to me" bit - excellent!!!
What a day!!Shopping, shopping and more of it while the car was sorted and we were stung for!!!! It only went in for a recall (air bag) last week, but as all blasted garages do the very nicely  checked it over! They said it needed a caliper on the driver's rear...so to speak. Our warranty said "that's ok, it won't cost you anything". Liars! Because it had some corrosion on it would cost £280 today or £160 (different suppliers!) mid May!!! We went to Quick F!! who checked it over, bit of a health check he said. We set a time yesterday afternoon, went back left it with them, walked arounf town then went back. "Bad news I'm afraid, they sent the wrong caliper, plus it'll need brake pads!!!!!!! Back again today and slogging round town again for a couple of hours while it was fixed, now £286 later, thank Heaven it's finished!! A vital commodity being in the country, but costly too, still at least it'll be safe for us to go to Scotland next month!!!!!
£15 in the pot!!
I thought it was especially quiet here, now I know why....jakes-mum is missing!! :rotfl:Have a lovely Wednesday, SPCers! Don't forget your POTS!

I've finally decided what I'm going to put my money towards when I open my pot! I start university next year and because of how full on that will be I think I'll put it towards going travelling somewhere in the summer when I finish my first year! Now just to decide where... Im going to decide where I want to go and keep a running total of my savings for it in my signature! I know this isn't very money-savingesque but if I've saved for it I don't feel as bad spending it:staradmin

You get badges with the Fitbit Sue, it tells you how far you have walked. I think my last one was the Japan badge, but I'm not positive. Is your car a Toyota by any chance? I got an airbag recall letter which said they would let me know when they had the stock in and I should take the car in then. They haven't let me know yet.
Excellent plan for your savings parksandrec. As you say, you saved the money so you spend it on something which will make you happy. I hope you save loads xx
Well done on your win Westie. Not a bad return at all
It's been snowing here today, and there was thunder which sounded like an explosion.
