Evening
That's great news saver-upper. All of the distress you have been through with the house over the past months will have been worth it when you move back in xx
I found the B&M. It's in the old Kent road, which is not some small back street that no one ever goes down. Also, I use that road to drive to my sisters and the shop is directly opposite the traffic lights I ALWAYS get stuck at when I drive there! Why hadn't I noticed it before???? Perhaps I should give up my licence as I obviously take no notice of what's around me when I am driving!!! Anyway, I now have a few bags of peanut butter M&Ms so all is right with the world!!!
I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

We had a lovely time at the wedding. The Bride was beautiful, the Groom handsome in a kilt, the service lovely, food amazing and best of all---- I didn't spend as much as I thought I would so back on track with my SP!
An hour at Gretna Green on the way home and DGS was a little star, good as gold at the wedding (we've decided he loves a party!) and slept a lot of the way home. Have a great day all.Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

Good evening
It's been a lovely day here, really sunny, although a bit chilly.
£7.95 potted today, and £4 odd yesterday. I was so excited about finding the B&M yesterday that I forgot to post about my pottings

Hi everyone, so sorry I've been extremely absent so far this year (hangs head in shame). I was determined to spend more time this year chatting to all you lovelies but unfortunately exams, work, family seem to be taking up all my time. Hopefully this week I'll be able to catch up with the thread and see what you've all been up to.
I've been managing to save £10+ of each weeks budget, so my pot should be growing quite well, although I can see a couple of house disasters looming which could wipe out the pot. Last year all three fences in the garden blew down in different storms (they didn't have the decency to all go at the same time, and I was reluctant to replace the ones that were still standing until it was absolutely necessary)!
Happy potting everyoneSPC # 1150 -

Hiya everyone
Thanks a million for my star Sue. I had a lovely holiday, thanks for asking, though still in some pain with my ribs - but much better than it was.
I've put my £10 in my pot for last week.
Hope you all have a super week

Morning potters - a trickle of silver into my piggy this morning, which was change from a small top up shop yesterday. I gave DH the two £2 coins though as he looked forlorn at the prospect of an empty wallet. I'm such a sucker...0

Afternoon everyone
Well I've bitten the bullet and bought a FitBit Flex. Hope I don't have your troubles MrsShazbat - it sounds very stressful! I must admit I was worried that it might cause an allergic reaction having read about the many people who have had such problems, but 2 days in and I haven't noticed anything amiss. I used my Tesco clubcard vouchers to buy it, so technically, it didn't cost me anything! I've started collecting my Bounts points too

One more day of work and then a week off, and I can't wait
32b3
I hope you realise that I'm ignoring everything you say about peanuts, peanut butter and that type of M&Ms, 32b3!!I daren't even try them or I'll be hooked!
Have a wonderful week off and really enjoy yourself!!
Not to worry about not having been on the thread recently, sunshine, at least you've potted a very healthy £17 - THAT'S the important thing!!!
Do what you can, ETO, more than that you really can't do; just be happy when you're able to. For now, enjoy looking after your 2 little treasures! :A:A Thank you so much for your words, I'll put an update at the end of my post.
Great saving, mrs-moneypenny!!Well DH presented me with a gift yesterday! An A4 notepad from the £ shop (yes truly the last of the big spenders) so I can start looking at costing a for Disney a World next year . . . I am not sure I view this as a gift for me as basically he just handed me months of research  a TRUE gift would have been HIM doing all the leg work! :rotfl:
Hope your DD is doing well at the minute Sue, does better weather help her or is she like me? Our summer weather knocks me for six, I did get told that there are quite a few similar symptoms between ME and MS
I'm sure (make that - think) that he has your best interests at heart, jakes-mum, like as not you'll soon find out and thank him - or not!!
Thanks a lot for asking about our DD, she isn't too bad but has a lot of numbness in her fingers and painful feet/legs, but it could be a LOT worse so we're thankful. Though her Neuro made us all livid, as after saying there were no new lesions on her brain.....that the chief Radiographer found TWO new ones that are active!!!!! Little wonder it took almost 10 years to diagnose MS!!! Not to worry. She is affected by heat a great deal and forever has a high temperature...that they can't find the reason for, yet they say she must have infection inside her but can't find where!!! *shrugs shoulders and spits out nails* You stay as well as possible with the ME!
Good for you, Hicksy.
Best to look into the fitness trackers, siju, check firms such A!zn for reviews. At least potting isn't complicated.Ah, just seen your lates post and it's wonderful to hear that...so for so good re the allergy!! Well done on the cost of it too!!!
Ah..well at least you know where the 50p coins went if DH is saving them, Dragon Lily, sounds as though you'll end up with a gorgeous garden. :grinheart
Never worry about having too much to pot, Selene, just pot it and be chuffed!!
No such thing as "Only a £1", parksandrec! Whatever you save all adds up, so be happy, even if it's only pence that you put in.
I'm so pleased everything turned out alright in the end, MrsShazbat, bit of a lark though.
Hoooraaaay Saver-upper!!!!! :j So little to get done now, a heck of a traumatic time for you all, but so much to look forward to very soon now!! :j
It sounds as though you had a fantastic time at the wedding, Lucy, isn't it marvellous when everything goes well. I wouldn't dream of asking about the Groom's kilt, but....is it true what they say??!! :rotfl: Your little DGS knows how to behave then, dear little fellah. :A
Hello there Cinders!! We have a lot of folk like yourself who just can't find the time to come to the thread, but you came now which is brilliant. It sounds as though you're really doing well, don't worry too much about the house disasters that need sorting, sadly there are always those sooner or later. Very good saving btw!
You take great care of yourself, Lynne....in other words be careful!!Nice work with the £10er.
Oh dear Dizzy Imp....you're right though - a sucker for sure and I bet your DH knows exactly what face to put on to gain your sympathy!!!Thought so. :rotfl:
Lovely to see you, themstarrynights, and keep that saving going!
An update on our friends darling Son: Very sadly Simon passed away on Saturday morning, thankfully the hospital had been very supportive and just managed to get him home on Friday afternoon. When Simon woke up he recognised home saying "ah the beams (in the ceiling), I'm home". The simple pleasures of home that meant so much at the end; thank Heaven he's free from all that suffering.Have a lovely evening, SPCers, a super Tuesday too. :j Beware! FEED those pots!
