Added a total of £11.95 into the pot including a £5 note today :j Pot is heavy now so I used a knife to see how full it was and it's only a quarter full

It's so tempting to bank it now because I want to know how much money is in there but I have to keep reminding myself that's not very MSE :rotfl:

Hello all SPCers!!!! I hope everyone had a marvellous weekend, a good Monday also. However both turned out, I wish you ALL a very good week!

Thank you so much for all your help, Westie, yours too 32b3, why ever I didn't join Bounts ages ago after being informed on the Fitbit forum I don't know, but better late than never and at least I'm all signed up now!! Here is a gold star for you both on behalf of myself and any others who have taken heed of what you've said. :staradmin:staradmin

I love my Fitbit one, it accompanies me everywhere I go, and if any one is thinking about buying one but unsure - go for it, you'll never regret it!! :D

Hi minmac, I'm so pleased you dropped in as it's so good to know folk are keeping up potting. Keep up the great work!

Well done on decluttering, Saver-uper, and getting some cash for your pre-loved clothing. However much closer you are to having the house finished at least every day takes you just a little more so. Chin up and keep looking forward!

Your DH will love his surge (not sure that that sounds right, but...;)) jakes-mum, a great Birthday present for certain!

I'm really pleased you had a lovely time in London, MrsShazbat, it mightn't have been for long but it's what you pack into those hours that makes or breaks time away. :) An excellent saving sum so far, et you're really chuffed with that.

We all understand how busy life gets, curly, however, you're saving well which is just great! I have to admit to finding it really hard at times, but love coming on and chatting to you all.

So pleased everyone enjoyed your DGS's 1st Birthday, mrs-moneypenny, what an amazing time that first one is, even if the little treasures know nothing about it. :A
    Brilliant saving by the way!!!

Keep on raiding that wallet, Dizzy Imp, though don't let yourself down by asking him why he doesn't have BIG coins! :rotfl:

Thanks so much for the grand Blaze review, MrsC....tobe, you certainly didn't leave anything out, I also like the comparison to the Surge, very many thanks. I'll keep your review at hand as I'm a bit befuddled at the moment. You've earned yourself a gold star, thank you so much. :staradmin That USB charger sounds quite amazing, food for thought again! Well done in sorting your siggie out.

I bet you were glowing with pride when your DS won the award, siju, very emotional too, but....! :grinheart All the best for him in getting the job he deserves.

Every penny counts indeed, Westie! ;)

Oooh 32b3, I'd never heard of peanut butter M&Ms til reading your post, now look what you've done!!! Don't know about you but I love Reece's Pieces not sure if I've spelt it right as I never buy them......my DGD tries plying me with them, I resist every time..well, almost!!

Excellent saving, Selene!! Now be very good and leave it where it is!!! :naughty:

A real shame about the pot, Hicksy, but life is filled with accidents, and at least you have the £100 safe in the bank. If you can remember to adjust your siggie it'll keep you from forgetting the amount. Presumably the dear little chap didn't hurt himself?

A very sad day here as our friend's younger Son is dying in hospital. He's already had 2 cancer illnesses in his early twenties, only a marrowbone transplant saved him last time, and he had the all clear whenever he went to the consultant since. He and his Wife have thankfully been blessed with children and luckily he's seen them grow, but now in his late 40's there's nothing that can be done and it was all so very sudden. Our friend's only other child, another Son is mentally handicapped, tragic for sure.

Life can sometimes change so rapidly; grab every moment of happiness while you can Potters.
Enjoy your evening and have a lovely Wednesday, Potters.Don't forget to feed your pots!

So sorry to read about your friend Sue, there are indeed lessons to be learned from the tragic situation your friend and his family find themselves in. Treasure each day, tell your loved ones you love them and enjoy your life as we none of us know what is round the corner.
Hugs sue I hope your dear friend is as comfortable and pain free as possible.

    Good evening

Peanut butter M&Ms are the best Sue, I love Reeces Pieces too, and the peanut butter cups. They sell both of the reeces one in pound land, or pound world. They used to sell the M&Ms too, but I haven't seen them for ages. Its funny though, I can't stand peanut butter, or hershey chocolate, but I love all three of those products :D During a misspent half hour in New York I uncovered some birthday cake flavoured M&Ms. they nearly put me off of chocolate for life :D:D

So sorry to hear about your friend's Son. what a sad situation. It is such a wicked world isn't it? Thats why I like to try to live for the day as much as possible.

Sorry your pot got smashed Hickles, perhaps the tin ones would be better for the time being? they just dent, but won't break :D

    £4.01 potted today.

Evening all, my sealed pot has started to fill up now (it's only a small pot) so I'm now on the hunt for something a bit bigger :) will scour my parents house for something appropriate tomorrow :)

I put £20 in todsy and some loose change I found in my car and my jeans, I'd only spend it on rubbish so I'd rather it go in my sealed pot.

What is everyone going to spend their money on when we all open our pots? I'm hoping to bag a cheap holiday somewhere hot using the money I save however my priorities may have changed by that point!

Ha ha just noticed our 'pot' opening day is the day before Doctor Strange opens here in cinemas. Ohhhhhhhhhhh that's going to be expensive with all the magazines and merch that I'm always never going to buy. Damn you Benedict!! :rotfl:

(speaking of, why won't my avatar change - it's changed in my User CP but the pic hasn't updated)
