Plodding away - a cheque for £31 put in the bank today, into the pot when it clears.

Ok, just getting round to it. I banked £180 and instead of going to the bank for money for last weekend, I bought my Fitbit from my bank balance and kept the remainder out as spends.
Didn't need as much as I thought last weekend and I'm going to need some money for this weekend so I'm repotting all of the £2 coins, all of the 50p coins, and half of the £1 coins, and a £10 note.

A grand total of £69.50 (including the wee mans kitchen £10) being potted this week, well technically 2 weeks worth! Ya dancer!

Great work, MrsC....tobe!!!! :T I can't see it but I presume you added your banked amount on your siggie?? If not, don't forget as it all goes to be declared in November. BTW. You mentioned your Fitbit - not being nosey but which one did you get?? I'm asking as I've had my "FB One" since they came out and it's starting to go home so was wondering if you'd bought one of the later models and what it was like. If you'd sooner not say for any reason then please don't worry at all. I love mine and wouldn't be without one as it spurs me on so much. :j

I have spent the school holidays decluttering,especially the children's bedrooms (full of stuff from demolished kitchen,garage,etc.And builders' dust-don't forget the builders' dust.)
As part of the decluttering process,I gathered together enough old clothes to get £9.81 from Cash4Clothes.All of it,including a lovely £2 coin (and moslty £1s),has gone in my pot :j.

Sue - I have a fitbit charge, and i love it. I previously had the flex, I find the charge much more motivation as I can see the number of steps, flights of stairs, distance and calories burned etc all without getting my phone out. If anyone would like at fitbit friend to challenge, let me know and i will add you.

I use bounts too Westie, I am about 200 points away from my 2nd voucher Might as well eh? I walk lots anyway, may as well get paid for doing it

I only registered today as I saw the link in Martins Email,

I dont have fitbit as I'm mobility challenged after my hip replacement but I do swim so I have a misfit speedo, which counts my swims, and steps, and more importantly my sleep cycle. so I have registered that....

Ahh Ty Sue, I was quite pleased with my free money and thank you to the people who mentioned the fitbit! Its Dh's birthday today and I have been racking my brains for weeks about what to get him, took him out yesterday and got him a couple of games for the xbox but no real prezzie so had a look at the fitbit and its perfect. Am just waiting for him to come home to say what colour he wants and will be ordering him one of those fitbit Surge ones this afternoon

In potting news, DH gave me his change from the pub this morning but I forgot to count it and I had a lovely 56p in my purse that is now safely in its new sealed home

Today I did an extra day of work (2 cleaning jobs).One of those customers I only work for a few times a year,so it is a little bit extra: I put todays pay for that job into my pot: £30 :j.

Not going to know myself tomorrow,having to get out of bed early and get kids ready for school ,then go to work.:eek:

Extension painting starts on Tuesday :j:j.
