Morning, so I was a little bit cheeky! DH emptied out his pockets before his jeans went in to the wash and there was a very lonely £2 coin sat on the bed....rather than snaffle it straight away I 'hid' it for a little bit to see if he noticed and have potted it this morning!
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

Marvellous news, f0xholes!!!!! :Tpositivelypunked wrote: »I joined a while back but not having much luck due to relationship problems (he ever used to pay for much at all and so I used my money on him when I shouldn't have) but now I've broken up with him & I want to start to rebuild my life again as I literally have no money saved up (had to use it to cover myself more than twice in the last 6 months)
I'm going to have to count everything up again tomorrow - I have next to nothing left.
It's really lovely to see you back, positivelypunked! I'm so pleasd you've started afresh all the way round and wish you much happiness from here on. Good luck with your savings too!
Hello again, Emily! Great to see you though not a bit surprised you're still saving - I wouldn't have expected any different with you being you. :grinheart
Not a bit surprised that hire cars are so much cheaper than trains, lucyhope, DH & I always found it that way some years ago. Have a really lovely time whenever the wedding is.
I know you're unable to read this, Helen, but I'm soooooo pleased you've gone to your Brother and his family for a well-deserved break. Be sure to thoroughly enjoy yourself - and a safe journey home!
Well done for relieving your DH of the cash he doesn't need, mossy!
Great to see you back, jakes-mum, and so pleased you had a really lovely time with the family! Bless your young'ns for enjoying the slots...you too for sharing!! :rotfl:
So sorry to have been missing for a few days, SPCers, not been a good time for me illness wise, back to normal now.

£2.29 in the pot this afternoon after doing all the shopping and still having a purse full of coins (good job we don't live near a canal), it would have been £4.29, but got mugged by the tooth fairy (£1) and conned by DS3 who 'forgot' his wallet (£1).4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!
