Morning all! Haven't posted for a while, potting almost non existent, we've been saving like mad to attend a wedding in Scotland at the weekend.
Hiring a car for our son in law to drive worked out cheaper than train fares, also the nearest station to the venue is 35 miles away! Hotel for 2 night as well have seriously dented the budget, but it's a special nephews wedding so we feel we have to go (long story) I'll be back on track after the weekend though. Have a great day everyone.Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

SueUU - I have to confess that I have restarted my sealed pot/tin, I was dipping into it too much or counting it up and then spending it, I didn't keep a tally as I was annoyed with myself for doing it but needs must as they say. Work has been really slow to non existent for sometime now but hopefully things will pick up again soon...
So bought a tin today and it will not be opened until November 3rd as I want to have what'll be in there for shopping and to treat my mum to a special lunchMFiT-T7 #17 (Jan 2025) £193k (Apr) £177k (July) £159k (Oct) £

Well done on the restart mummytummy, sometimes in life to just hit a bump. But you've dusted yourself down and got back on the potting wagon so consider it just a hiccup.
Manage to put £2 in my tin and have put £10 in a holding place, if it's not asked for by next weekend it goes in the tin. I bought two scratch cars for us for Easter mine won £2 Dh £10 but the cards got left on my dressing table and he's not asked mentioned them again.SPC~12 ot 124

Happy belated birthday Siju, I hope you had a lovely day
I once tried to explain the 21 again rule to my niece, I said 'once ladies get to 29 years old they then only have 21'st birthdays so I am 21 again this year' she said 'no your not Auntie Jakesmum, your 35, my mummy told me so!' Thankfully as shes got older she's learnt a to accept my reality :rotfl:
Thank you for your birthday wishes, you too Sue-U_U. My mother will be 87 this year and still insists she's 21, so if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me :rotfl: I had a lovely birthday and a fabulous Easter weekend with the family.
I also managed to pot £4 coins and some pennies over the weekend too.
Wednesday already, the weekend will be upon us again so very soon:TSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -

£2.50 potted today left over from supermarket shopping. Still on holiday from work until next week, so enjoying the time off and getting lots done around the house. The sun is out today - lovely spring day! I had a quick walk around the garden checking out the plants and it's lovely seeing the plants starting to bud and spring back to life!:staradmin Star from Sue-UU

Good evening everyone :hello:
£40 of coins paid in to my savings account. The tin was getting full, so I needed to free up a bit of space. :j :j
As soon as I got home from the bank, I potted £3 which wasn't spent in town... :ASealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
I doubled up my nectar points today - first time I've ever done that. Only had £5 in points but that gave me a £10 voucher with I put towards a couple of bottles of Prosecco. I also had a £1.50 off a £15 shop at Sainsbury's.
I charged all my shopping to groceries which gave me £11.50 to pot.
