Afternoon all
Had a lovely weekend, hope you all did too. Spent far too much at the garden centre, we often get carried away :j Never mind, we'll reap the rewards later in the year when the garden is full of produce and flowers
Have £5.25 to pop into my pot tonight :ASPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -
Hi. I'm still around but haven't managed to pot much recently, I was stuck in the sofa for a week and a half recovering from norovirus (horrible experience!) I've got some change in my uniform from work but haven't emptied it yet, that's one of today's jobs.SPC Newbie, Number 131

Hellloooo again all Potters!!!! I hope you all had as good a weekend as I did because it was a brilliant one, all family orientated, so a great time.
Well you did do quite well with saving, siju, but come the weekend and I bet you overspent on the garden!Who can blame you as it looks a picture when all the flowers are in bloom, well done you!
ooooh lucky you with your hubby shelling out for tea, MrsShazbat, FAR better that the money's saved!!!! :j
Excellent work in hauling that wood, cattysmum, it'll save a good deal next winter. Well done with the £7 found!!! :T12_month_challenge wrote: »I potted the £5 change before I spent it on rubbish.
I love this challenge. Why didn't I join it before
Why indeed, 12 month challenge, still, you're with us now and saving well so look ahead and not back!MrsC....tobe wrote: »Not taken anything out yet Sue, still tightly sealed for the moment.
Ah, good for you then, MrsC....tobe.When you were talking about your little fellar I'd quickly read it to mean you were talking about stripping your OH from top to toe...meaning taking all money from him. Ah well...food for thought maybe. :rotfl:
So sorry to hear that your work isn't a good place to be, TheDapster, any chance of another firm deserving your lovliness? You did the wise thing in destressing with a good long walk. Very good banking TD!! :j I'm thinking of you.
I take it you mean your friend bought you a hot water bottle, mossy, not to worry, whatever it was at least you got the 20p. Crikey - 8 months to go! By heck it flies by.
A nice lot of saving for you, 32b3, and well done with the walk, it'll have done you a power of good.
Hello to you, Dizzy Imp, and that 35p is great for the pot, it all helps!
That's a lovely amount saved, Westie, I bet the bar man was pleased to see the back of you taking all his change, but what else is a girl meant to do!! :rotfl:
I dread to think how many balls you needed for that £5er thunderball win, mrs-moneypenny, still, it's in the pot and well done you! :T
Try not to stress too much, TheCatsandDogsMother, the right time will come.
Don't worry, Val, we shall be here waiting for you.
No to worry, ETO, that £7 is far better saved than spent.
Good to hear you're still filling your pot, mcjordi!
Ah, bless your little treasure, Hicksy!! Good work in saving.
Oh, haven't we all been at that stage, jakes-mum, little darlings. We struggle to recall the lovely memories, but the not so good ones come flying back!
oooh, I really do sympathise with you, Claire, norovirus must be ghastly to endure; good that you're back recovering and thinking......potting though.
Our DGD phoned us from Tenerife on Saturday and we had a Face Time call yesterday, it was amazing to hear and see her; she even showed us all around the scenery which was gorgeous! :grinheart
Take care, everyone and many {{{hugs}}} to all those feeling poorly or a bit low, look after yourselves.Enjoy your Monday, Potters, what a beautiful one it is too.:grinheart Keep up the potting!

Hi Everyone.....
Sorry I haven't been around.....Been extremely busy with Work, Placement and Course Stuff.....I have just facilitated a Weekend this past Weekend which is a major part of my Diploma over and done with - Now just to write up the Weekend, finish my Case Study and I'm pretty much there....I reckon I will qualify in around July this Year....
Anyway....In Potting news.....Things are a bit financially difficult here but I AM keeping up with everything in terms of Bills, Food, Rent, Debt Commitments, etc.....that makes me really proud....but the downside is that I can't Pot a lot....just little bits here and there....BUT, the GOOD side is that I haven't had to take money OUT of my Pot, which is a GREAT thing!! :A
So this morning I managed to Pot 50p....that will have to do until I go Food Shopping on Thursday....and then we'll see where I am at....
Sue, I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time at the Wedding....They can be such precious occasions with very special memories for you to cherish...
*Hugs* to anyone that needs them.....And I will try to pop in more often if I can xXx0 -

Hi, just popping in to say I'm still potting but only dribs and drabs. Have lost count of how much money but just all loose change in my purse after shopping. I have never had a sealed tin before and can't believe how heavy it is. Also potted 2p roadkill 😄.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order
