Going to update my total at the end of each week, but I put £10 in yesterday as I found it while tidying. Obviously didn't need it, so in the pot it went!

Hi, I wonder if I can join the Sealed Pot Challenge please - it sounds great. I'm not going to put any targets on as no idea how much I'm likely to pot but will just put away change/savings made from offers etc.

    Many thanks :)
Hiya - welcome and good luck with the challenge. You can add practically anything you make/save anywhere else. If you're not sure have a look at the first post and if it's not covered then just ask on here :D

Thanks Sue, and everyone else for the welcomes. I'd speed read and saw the closing date was 3rd Nov, so thought you had to throw your hat in the ring by then, missed the it's never too late bit.
I've used the shrapnel in my purse to take me up to Friday day 53/53p in my tub and also thrown 48p I found in a cupboard in my pot.
Looking forward to saving and being more frugal this year.
Btw. Sadly the lotto win wasn't huge, nearest I've got is winning about £130 the week of my 50s birthday - which paid for a meal out I'd invited friends to, so it was nice the celebration was paid for. Since the lotto has gone up we've cut back on what we wasted on it so that will be a bit extra I can add to my pot

    Hellooooooooo Potterssssssssss (new and old)

Well I'm feeling a tad better, though I'll be honest, I haven't actually attempted getting out of bed yet today so it might all go down hill in a few minutes

    Happy birthday for yesterday !!!!!!

DH went to the pub on Friday and brought me back 3 x £2 coins and some change :D I also made DS turn out his pockets and swap up £5 in change with me (including a £2 coin he had NOT thought to inform me about!), then I tackled his mate who, after much rummaging, could only produce £2.51, handed me said change and said 'oh you can have it!' I'm like, ummmm no? That's your money! And he said 'Oh it's ok, my dad gives me a couple of quid every day anyway' and walked off leaving it in my hand  so it's in my pot and I'll have to try and get another £2.49 off him another day so I can give him a £5 note :rotfl:
