ok it doesnt work where do i go from here?

i sent my appeal 21 days after i got the pcn as per this forum i done it online heard nothing so last week i emailed again to enquire and have just received a letter stating they emailed me on the 16th oct

it says in th cover letter i have 14 days to pay the reduced amount from the 20th nothing about the missing email

Complain to the BPA that NCP didn't send you a rejection letter and valid PoPLA code until you asked, and by that time the code had expired. (Did you check your email junk folder by the way?)

Use the fact that NCP sent you a letter allegedly confirming an email to show that they obviously suspect the reliability of their email service. Why send a letter if they are confident the emails are getting to their destination?

Request that the BPA instruct NCP to cancel the PCN or send you a new and valid PoPLA code by post with the full 28 day appeal period.

It happens quite a lot - you'd be surprised.

A cynic might say it's deliberate, but not me. Oh no, definitely not deliberate.

It doesn't matter. YOU DO NOT 'only have 14 days' (Jeez if you think you have to pay this within 14 days 'because NCP said so' then what are you going to do when Debt Recovery Plus write and give you their pretend deadlines?)

Get wise, this is nothing at all - they've stitched you up and the BPA won't help. So what really, the whole 'industry' is rotten and the BPA can't stop them rotting even though I know in some matters, they try.

You won't get another chance at POPLA so ignore NCP and the debt recovery letters, obviously.

We don't want to see the letters and please don't pay them. This is only NCP for Gawd's sake. You'll get these tedious and laughable letters, please let's not hear about them!! (we have thousands of threads about them...please search, it's all very predictable). Also shown here:

They don't need to 'look at' their system. PPCs do this deliberately and I said as much to the BPA yesterday about Smart Parking - I suggested the BPA need to start insisting on proof of posting. I'm not holding my breath...

Did you check your junk emails or deleted ones? Not that it matters...ignore.

Read post #4 of the NEWBIES thread which is the stage you are at now.

They are a Trade Body paid for by the parking firms to give them a veneer of legitimacy. They have a Code of practice but that's it, they are not a regulator.
