Lots of inconsistencies one second it's ATM withdrawals then it's counter, think inless the OP can clear this up, of course every bit of advice is thrown back with a reply to why, of course if I had lost 12k I wouldn't be asking on a forum but ringing the bank or going down there and staying till its sorted. Maybe that's just me...
Post sticking out of letterbox,
OnlinePin being used along with customer number.
Counter transactions but no CCTV
ATM Transactions minutes apart but not written down pin

Seems as if your fraudster is indeed close to home and become over confident. As having cleared your account of £12k they've continued to target just you. Suggest you set a trap for them. Or you'll be living in fear of what they attempt next.0 -
Until we hear what the response is, any speculation is pretty irrelevant.
For me it is useful to hear other peoples experiences. My post asked about their experiences with CEO and not the details of the fraud case. But I will see what they say.0 -

Its not inconsistent, just because I didn't explain everything in detail to you and added the detail after being asked doesn't make it inconsistent. 12 to 28 July is just above 2 weeks. Some people on this forum are real quick to point out holes in the story. I have kept some information as my main point of this forum is to find out their experiences with contacting CEO with a complaint. I am not asking people to review my case or pass judgment. Maybe I shouldn't put so much info about what happened.0 -

Thanks, I think so too. I have been on the watch and I have set up CCTV cam too.0 -

You may be right, you could have simply said that you'd written to the CEO, what happens next. You've been given answers to that question, but by bringing some but not all (and by no means clear) details of the incident into it you have opened yourself up to questions from people who have interests beyond those that you wish to restrict the thread to. Lesson learned for the future I hope.0 -
Hey Workingmum1990,
I know how you feel. I read your post before you edited and I just had to write this. I went through the same thing just like you. It happened Feb 2014. Same situation, fraudsters had all my details, similar transactions. I went through the complaints process with NatWest first and I had not success there. They blamed me for the truncations on my account. I appealed but they stood by their decision. I raised my claim to FOS and also contacted Chief Executive Office with a letter outlining my case. They were very good, they responded to me and within two weeks, I received my money back in full (£5500). They had closed my account and re-opened that for me and I received an additional £500 for inconvenience.
Thing is, my case, just like yours was complicated. I could see why it was refused in the first place. But, if you have been honest and kept your details safe, you shouldn’t have to pay when a fraudster targets your account.
Don’t post any more details of the case too! It will become the centre of focus and you will feel really !!!! after.
Stay positive and let us know how you get on with the CEO. They are people at the end of the day and they do care.0 -

Thank you! That's very nice of you! I will stay positive and I will let you know what they say. I have been honest and know I was targeted so I will see what they say.0 -
When you call up a bank they usually ask for telephone banking number and password (usually a memorable word or place) and/or will ask you what direct debits if any, you have on your account etc. How did the thief know this information?
In the 2 weeks during this theft happening, did you not use your card once? Check balance online? Shopping? Petrol etc.?
I think you mentioned about being at home with a baby, I’m assuming your postie normally delivers post in the morning, if that is the case, this thief would have to wait around your flats for him to do his rounds and intercept it very shortly after. Given that you said that this has happened before with your partner’s bank account, I imagine you are vigilant about your post and also coupled with the fact that you said you were at home, surely as soon as you hear the post through the door you would go collect it with some reasonable urgency? So the thief would have had what, a 5 minute window opportunity to steal your post?
Is your postie a woman?
Did Natwest close your bank account?
Have you checked all 3 credit reference agencies (Experian, Equifax, Call Credit) to see if the thief has applied for any other products in your name?
You might also want to send a SAR to CIFAS just in case Natwest have put a CIFAS marker on your name.

"I'd imagine the number of current accounts with over £12,000 in held by council flat owners is pretty small"
Why do you imagine that? You would be surprised how many people are in council/housing associations homes that can afford to live in private accommodation. All that glitters is not gold.0
