So they have been removed from their business premesis because they are scammers?

Have you contacted the director of the company yet?

No reason given for Safestore to give them notice!
I sent a letter to the directors address with the usual "refund or deliver within 7 days or I'll resort to Credit Card co., Trading Standards and small claims" - no response yet but it's only been 6 days.
If I get anything I'll post it here.........don't hold yer breath!
Depending on progress I may suggest to TVdeals, aka KANN, that the BBC Watchdog program might be interested in their novel approach to internet trading.

Well, in the best Victor Meldrew style "I don't belieeeeve it!" - The Titan slicer actually arrived in the post today, and looks OK too.:cheesy:
Still no communication whatsoever from TVDEALS - I'd like to think that the emails and letter sent had the desired response but of course it could just be a coincidence, guess we'll never know. It goes without saying I'll probably not be buying from them in the future. Good luck to all those still with goods outstanding!

My wife ordered a hammock & stand for £119.99 from these people and after 5 weeks I was getting a bit annoyed, so I did a bit of detective work. I read some comments here and decided I had to get in touch with them other than by email.
I tracked them down to Safestore and spoke to the manager there. He told me everything I needed to know and then thanked me for being calm and polite (apparently many of those ringing Safestore to complain about tvdeals are aggressive and abusive). A quick websearch using the address I had been given, threw up the guys details including phone no, names of everyone who lives there and even how much he paid for his house. I spoke to someone at the address who came out with some lame excuse (as a user of a big auction site, I'll admit that I'm getting a bit cynical and jaded when it comes to excuses from online traders).
Long and short of it is that within 15 minutes of calling them and letting them know that I was prepared to either take them to court and or visit in person to demand a refund, they sent me two emails telling me the money would be refunded to my wife's credit card.

Just need to check the money has been credited back to the credit card and I'm done.

Trade with this company at your peril!

The refund I demanded happened within three days of my phone call to Mr . I can only surmise that he doesn't like the thought of a disgruntled punter turning up at his home address!
Maybe he'll change his way of doing business as a result........although I won't be the one to find out.
• My son has ordered an abs machine and it was said to be going to take 28 days - this passed and then was told another 28 days - we complained and they said they had refunded his money - no refund I have just sent a strong e mail to wimbledon@safestore.co.uk, sales@tvdeals.tv and trans.admin@PayPoint.net lets hope they respond.

We ordered a Malibu Pilates chair from TV Deals (memo to self: when something is half the price that competitors are charging, there is always a catch!). no acknowledgement, no response to email, but they took the money from my card immediately.

Telephoned the number that Sam93 helpfully posted. It is actually the telephone number of the house next door to his. Spoke to a young lady who was pleasant but deliberately vague - he'd left for work, she couldn't remember where he worked, she didn't have a mobile number. However, I persuaded her that I needed to speak to him about an urgent business deal so she told me to ring. I did

Immediately got through to Mr ... wife who very kindly put me on to her husband. He was also very pleasant, I politely pointed out the inefficiencies in his business, told him I wanted to cancel and get a refund, and he promised to resolve it immediately.

Will let you know what happens
Will update

It looks like TVDEALS may have cleaned up their act since these complaints - I ordered a Slap Chop for £14.99 then saw that it could take 28 days to deliver. They debited the £14.99 immediately, but when I asked for a refund because I'd missed the birthday it was a prezzie for, I was sent an email the next day apologising for the delay and promising refund, and a few days later my card was credited with the refund.

I order a malibu pilates machine 3/5/09 the money came out the next day, I emailed a few times asking when it would be delivered i was told 28days, well 28days are now coming to an end so i emailed asking for tv deals to confirm the delivery date no reply, sent the email 3 more times nothing i then emailed again yesterday 3 times telling them i wanted to cancel the order and i wanted my money back i have realised it was a scam, again nothing i have just emailed yet again asking for my money back, and i intend to report this matter to the police and trading standards tomorrow, so i am afriad the is no change for this company they are just out for free money and ripping innocent people off!!!
