    We get a little diverted trying to detect cancer, improving health and generally trying to stop people dying.

    You're not the only ones.... Might want to remember that.

    Why not? My local hospital has ample parking spaces for both patients & staff. It can only be poor planning & poor management if your Trust doesn't provide sufficient parking.

    Urban locations


    Red tape regarding tendering for multi storey


    Lack of funding due to Double running costs (cover large geographic area, but low population)


    Lack of available land for conversion to parking


    - there's a whole plethora of reasons, but currently it's not there. Yes I do agree some of the planning and management at senior levels from years gone by left a lot to be desired, but the whole board has since been replaced and things are better.


    e.g. the pay on exit system in the visitor car park, planning permission now sought for the new multi storey
