Thanks god I managed to find an electrician who can fit my job in on Thursday evening after one I booked in July dropped out with 2 days notice argh. Going to be stressful and more money as its evening but at least I don't have to cancel plastering on Friday...flying has been limited but need to do our room today and keep on top of dailies while being diy assistant for hubby....will be worth all stress when it's done

    Morning all.

I managed to get a lot of course preparation work done yesterday while my friend J put her feet up and relaxed - something she is rarely able to do at home. Dh was brilliant and kept taking her cups of tea and coffee and chatting to her for a couple of minutes each time, so she could just sit in the chair and do the crossword, read her book or even snooze, while I got on with work upstairs and also popped in to see her every so often. We managed a 40-minute walk round the lanes, and when we came back I baked a batch of Twinks, some dead easy oat/banana cookies suitable for diabetics and lasagne for tea *nom-nom*. The evening course taster that I put on went really well and I have been asked to run a full course in March, so I am really pleased.

Today is therefore going to be a bit more relaxing - well, a little bit! J is going home today, so DH and I will hop on the local train to the big city with her and see her safely onto the London train, then we'll do a bit of shopping, have some lunch and get home before it goes dark. I might even manage a short nap ;) before I go out this evening to the study course that I'm attending.

The house is still tidy and clean :) so flying will just be
    - S&S the kitchen
    - S&S the bathroom
    - WM x2
    - strip the guest bed ready for WM tomorrow
    - S&S the ensuite
That should take me no more than 10 minutes :D
I will look at the lists and see what special jobs DGD2 (aged 3) can help me with tomorrow, as she will be with us all day.

GWS vibes to Bossy and Master Moo, and keep well wishes to Little Miss Moo and her grandparents.
Big sticks thrown for gilly's BD.
    Anti-stress vibes to mummyroys.
Hope you're feeling OK after your gentle flutter, CY.

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all who need them. Hope everyone has a good day x

Narco I have found that exercise works wonders for my stress and anxiety. I went for a little jog last night which I am really not supposed to do with my dodgy knee but it was great. Gym tonight.

Yes that's partly why all this work is getting to me; I just haven't had time to go to the gym as much. I know I would probably work better if I "sacrificed" a couple of hours or get to one of my usual classes as I know my mental health is loads better if I keep it up regularly. Of course my appointment with nursie is Fri am which rules out Body Attack  of course I should just get on the rebounder for a little while each day......sloth is me..... Anyway, I'm gradually catching up; just hoping the assessments today and tomorrow are easy to write up.

Big sticks for the various dogs that seem to be around.
Haven't posted much about flying, but the basics are under control.
Off for flu jab now (don't mind those at all) then hopefully C0sta as the flu jab is on the same campus as the C0sta.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Managed to empty my ironing basket before work. Alarm is all fitted and paid for so I can start putting the stuff back where it all goes.
Ds2 has a careers thing later so hopefully be all squared up and tidy before that.

Wardrobe removed from landing.. Just sorting through Christmas presents.. I found 3 boxes of stuff from the January sales.. I need very little now.. DS3's boots, something for DS2 and moomin and tiddles .. And I am done!!! Maybe a few bits for OH.. But really.. It's all about the wrapping now!

I'm incredibly relieved! It means I can spend longer on my knitting and am in less of a frenzy about wrapping.. Could do with a nap but I'm sorting presents into boxes depending on who they belong to!

Lounge dusted and hoovered. Sofa n chair seats removed and plumped around and put back.

    Cloakroom cleaned.
    Bathroom cleaned.
Brand new not used yet ensuite cleaned as it was dirty and dusty. Just blind to get now and we can start to use it. Can't use it without with the light on as it would be like a peep show lol.

Dh taking kids to swim lessons and I'm gonna mop bathroom n ensuite floors and make lunchboxes for tomorrow as I'm off to job number 2 and then off to knitting group after. Phew....
